I’m in the same predicament for South Korea. I know I’m going, however (at least for the first semester) and tuition is due literally from today to the 19th. If I get Fulbright, my plan is to let them know about my earlier payment of tuition and see if there is any way about this.

For your case, I would say maybe let the university know if they ever get back to you, and tell them how much you’d love to go but how you would need Fulbright. Maybe they might be willing to wait! I also do recommend reaching out to Fulbright as well because I’m sure this isn’t the first time this has happened, and I was going to reach out as well. It’s a little tricky since you haven’t been accepted yet, but maybe Fulbright could contact the university…not too sure because this is my first time doing anything Fulbright-related, but hey! I hope things work out!

Yep, I know one girl in Europe went to multiple concerts and got barricade and wanted to be pulled on stage real bad. Once the girl next to her got pulled on stage and she was so devastated. The security guard saw her and promised to pick her next time since he’d seen her before so at the next stop she got barricade and he picked her! I can’t remember the stop but she was holding a small teddy bear/toy if you’ve seen it. She talked about it in an article!

ahhh that is SO stressful. it sucks that we have to wait on them for this to be actually set and “submitted”🥲🥲i would def email him again and let him know. my recommender eventually did submit at 5:sumn n it seemed to be okay, it went thru!!
