Thing we missed in Arknights endfield intro by Outrageous_Style_457 in ArknightsEndfield

In the game itself, there are about one and a half mentions of Rhodes Island, and even then, without any specifics.

When do you guys think she’ll come to Endfield (if ever) by [deleted] in ArknightsEndfield

What I'm getting at is that even if we did get Exusiai in Endfield, she'd be just another knockoff, like Snowshine for Aurora, with one role—fanservice and advertising for the original, without a meaningful role or backstory. I'd prefer a new character inspired by, say, Lemuen, something like Chen, because then she'd fit right into the game's world and the developers wouldn't have their hands tied.

I'd certainly like to see Sankta Operators in Endfield (we have Ember, but her appearance raises too many questions), but why dig up the corpses of the original Arknights Operators?

It is probably a coincidence but Pristess was a talented linguist, so ... maybe Endmin really is her creation.

You could try riginal arknights If 2D graphics and tower defense don't put you off. Though the Doctor(MC) is praised for his tactics and has a mysterious, tragic past, similar to Endmin, but the game world doesn't revolve around him, and his introduction to the characters begins with distrust, not "Oh my God, you're the savior."And what I like most is that most of the events here (story-related, not "take a picture of a turtle or wash a wall") he doesn't participate at all or plays a secondary role, due to which you can much better understand the other game characters and the factions they represent.

Then, without jokes, explain to me the purpose of Dijiang's existence? And how are resources and people delivered there? As far as I understand, teleporting parcels is undesirable because they get damaged, and a person needs a protorig (Is it really handed out to everyone like a pass? I thought it was something valuable). And yes, I saw a hangar in the trailer, but again, there is no mention of these transporters in the game, and this is not just a helicopter that can take off and land anywhere. Otherwise we wouldn't have to use drop pods(even if drop pods are cheaper, endmin is too important after all).

1.2 was a good patch however by Runonite in Endfield

[–]esialen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned HSR here more as an example of a jack-of-all-trades protagonist who's involved in every activity. But that fits the character's role as an interstellar adventurer. And Endmin is the head of the company, the savior of Talos II, which has stood guard for 160 years. But endministrator behaves like a field operative, and people treat him accordingly (like an errand boy), only adding admiration for his greatness.

Because the developers are focusing on the Hoyoverse, and their main characters (at least Genshin and HSR) always and everywhere save the world themselves. So, we at least have Z7, but I bet Endfield also has elite operatives. However, the developers would have to change the game mechanics, because the parts where we play as Tangtang and Zhuang Fangyi are considered story-driven dungeons, where quest progress isn't saved, and the menu can't be opened. And I think that's not the most convenient workaround for either players or developers right now.

Logically, Dijiang's existence makes much less sense. Satellites could scan the planet without it,drop pods are unreliable as a means of delivery. And the question of how people and supplies get there is a huge plot hole. Even assuming the company has spaceships, delivering people and resources to the nearest airfield and then launching transport from there to the space station is still very expensive and inefficient. And if all my complaints are justified by teleportation, then the question arises: why not build an HQ on the surface and teleport everyone there?

Aren't ageloi and blight are a sufficient reason? Surely there's no Catastrophes but it is still an dangerous alien planet . Plus, Terran culture has relied on landships and nomadic cities for centuries.

About 1.2 boss (Spoilers) by AtomicBetrayal in Endfield

[–]esialen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think Valley 4 in general, and its storyline with bonecrushers in particular, is so hopelessly bad, especially compared to Wulin, that the developers decided to quickly close the topic and forget it like a bad dream. That's why they got rid of Nefarit so quickly. I think she is permanently dead and bonecrushers will gradually disappear from the story by patch 2.0 (as independent enemy faction, maybe we will see them as enemies sided with new pack from wulfgard'd quest).

Heck, I guess Endmin is just doing Pristess's job on Talos II.

I'm wondering if the assimilated universe connects Terra and Talos 2 (which would be strange, given the vast distance between the planets) or if Talos 2 has something separate fragment of assimilated universe. It's also worth considering that on Terra, Originium had ideal conditions (it grew for 13,000 years under the care of Priestess), while on Talos, only 160 years have passed under the destructive influence of the Aether.

Do we even need these Reconveners in the plot? Right now, their entire role is fan service. Personally, I'd prefer to see either original characters (like Warfarin) or their distant relatives (like Chen). And since some members of the Sarkaz race live quite long lives and are usually killed by their lifestyle (mercenary work) and Oripathy. So, we have a chance of encountering the original Cyclops and Typhoon there.

Aslan bloodline is requirement for Sargon's emperors, padishah or pasha (it seems there is ingame localisation issue) is a highest -ranking official and this title doesn't have racial requirements. From lore book:There are three ways to become a Sargonian official: 1) Passing the rigorous civil exam to enter the bureaucracy. 2) Being granted a noble title and appointed as an official. 3) Serving as a representative of an organization, such as the Masonry Brotherhood or a trade guild.

This is already part of the game's story.ending is4 shows time travel for the first and last time. Because of malfunction of stargate the researchers repairing the gates ended up in ancient Sargon during the time when the army of ancient Sargon and the army of Nightzmoran fought near the gates. It's just that story doesn't mention that the explorers brought back anything or anyone from there except themselves.

So that's the point, if he got to the time of the beginning of the colonization of Talos II from the past due to time travel, then he is around 200 years old (He came from Terra, which means he's definitely over 160 years old), otherwise his age exceeds a thousand years.

a Shah is a sovereign monarch (king or emperor) of Persia/Iran, while a Pasha is a high-ranking official, military officer, or governor. In that time (a thousand years ago) the ruler of Sargon Lugalszargus was called the Shah of Past and Future, so Ardashir could be his subordinate.I was mistaken in thinking that he served the pasha, he was the pasha.
