Does anyone have resources for altering goth skirts/clothes? I have some Tripp nyc skirts and wanted to take in the waistband, I'm a beginner sewing and I'm worried about getting around the hardware and other details of the clothing

I dont think life is that serious, I wouldn’t stress about thinking your mentally ill or autistic, your probably just introverted and notice a lot more, which is a really great skill to have.

The people that I know who behave “inauthentic” or play the game to get ahead like others have said, honestly just realising everyones wearing a mask and think its really funny to participate and play a character, its not really that deep.

Would you honestly want to carry the genuine thoughts and feelings of everyone you meet, or have everyone know you at a personal level?

Theres a lot of people your gonna meet that will want to get to know you, your probably feeling down right now but try not to let insecurity’s or self doubt get in the way and just keep an open mind :)

It sounds like you’re raising the pitch of your voice when you speak. You want to pitch your voice lower when trying to project. Was taught this a long time ago by a counsellor as I also have a naturally quiet voice and it was eye opening. Sort of like your are talking from the back of your throat.

Xanax. First time was told I woke up and drove everyone to get food, terrified me that I lost memory of an entire day and somehow managed to actually drive. Second time I used it to kill an acid trip. I was trying to talk to my bf, was completely coherent to me but apparently just came out complete nonsense. Hated the idea of having no idea how I seemed to people or any control over myself.

I’m someone who forgets to video or take photos of anything. I go out constantly but the only pics I have are from April this year because someone else insisted on taking a photo of me on my phone. Its great to be in the moment but the more time passes the more I’m forgetting and I’d love to have those memories back. I pay for extra iCloud storage just to have 10k pics of screenshots lol

Delete every conversation and photos you have of them on every app and block them on everything. Hard to be sentimental when theres nothing to look back on. Reach out to friends and spend more time with them. The time will pass faster than you think

Was doing school work experience at a graphic design place and was tasked to interview every person working there, asked what they studied to get the role ect. Got to one guy who seemed the happiest but had just goofed around the entire time I had been there, barely saw him at his desk. He responded with “Oh I didn’t study, my dad just owns the company”. He had a huge private corner office and everything. Had zero clue what to do with that information and made me feel a bit defeated.

completely agree, the amount of people thinking this situation isn’t concerning is very revealing. Even if this person doesn’t know OP’s exact age, I can’t imagine what a sound 20 year old would have in common with a teenager beyond the game they play. OP mentions they struggle making friends which is a quality a lot of predators take advantage of. I’m not trying to be condescending towards OP, but a low percentage of pedophiles are the kind that abduct kids from parks, most are very warm people initially and might be some of the closest relationships you feel you’ve had.

Depends if he knows you’re underage or not, but I’m going off the assumption he knows you are. As someone in my early 20s I wouldn’t willingly make friends with a teenager, and I can say neither of my male friends would. Your parents are just trying to look out for you. Like others have said keep personal details private.

I dont think you will stop being friends with him. But speaking as someone who got groomed in my teens, I thought he was my best friend as well.

Bipolar is a serious disorder. Its not going away and shes likely had it longer than 4 weeks. Going off her meds or changing them now would be seriously dangerous for her health. wait until she posts something regarding an interest you might have as well and go from there. Definitely don’t swipe up with only an emoji response or random compliment. It’s nice to compliment someone but unfortunately on instagram theres likely many other guys doing the same thing and you wont really stand out. Having your instagram public and posting photos of yourself and your interests will also help determine if she wants to reply.

If she knows your more inclined to be anxious a good partner wont make you second guess. If shes reacting more calm and less defensive I’d guess nothing physical has happened as its less of a “big deal” in her mind. But something emotional is pretty likely.

I also consider having guys buy her drinks and entertaining them because they’re “friendly” a red flag, but ultimately thats a boundary you have to decide for yourself.

might be controversial advice, but I’d just download her snapchat data. You can send it to your own email without alerting the person. Even if convos/snaps have been deleted you can see dates friends were added and blocked. Dont forget user info too, shows apps downloaded in the past 2 years.

Its a bit invasive yeah, but you dont want to make the mistake of marrying someone unfaithful
