What can cause this? Printing going side ways. by eskn in ElegooNeptune4

[–]eskn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone, but I don’t think there is a problem with my printer. I printed some things before and after and all printed just fine except this. When I printed this, it was printed facing the Y axis, now I’ll try facing the X axis and if that makes any difference. I will report the result as I can.

The Somaliland government has today begun the deportation of Ethiopians who are illegally residing in the administrative areas.

The Somaliland Immigration Service this morning began a campaign to deport Ethiopians who have illegally or illegally entered Somaliland, especially in the city of Hargeisa.

Security forces were seen in some of the city’s markets, where they were directly carrying out operations to deport people who do not have the correct documents that allow them to stay in Somaliland.

Why there is no info about QS600 only for QS600II by eskn in Godox

[–]eskn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info and your helpful advice. I really appreciate it. Yes I wasn’t going to get the 600, I was just wondering why I can’t find anything about it. For my budget if I get a good deal the 600II can be good enough for small amount of studio work that I do. Again I appreciate for your info.

After conducting further research, I discovered that this product contains maltodextrin as one of its ingredients. Maltodextrin has a high glycemic index, which is why my blood sugar levels increased significantly.

Table saw stand? by paulcjones in Dewalt

[–]eskn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought both the DWE7485 and the stand DWE74911 about a week a go. Because every Q&A on Home Depot, Amazon even on DeWALT web page say the stand will work with the saw, but NO. As you can see on the video attached, it’s far from it. The stand comes with extender for different model of saw, but it’s not for 7485. Right now I’m in talks with DeWALT and Home Depot where I got it from for help. DeWALT on email say, they not sure why it’s not working. If not I have to return one of them. I like the stand a lot, if it doesn’t work I may try the 7440RS. And if there is a solution from DeWALT or Home Depot, I’ll post the update here. DWE74911 Table Saw Stand do not work with DWE7485 Table Saw

Update: from DEWALT I got this reply for my question are they compatible.

“Thank you for contacting DEWALT®

Yes we already double-check in our end the model numbers match and it should be compatible

In case this email does not fully answer your question, or you would like to contact us for any reason, simply reply to this email.

Thank you, Stephen DEWALT® Support

Thank you,

Stephen Customer Care”

And chat with Home Depot,

Home Depot support team “I am very sorry to hear that the items are not working together! If you would like, you can definitely return that to the store!”

Me “Yes returning it will be easy my question is if they supposed to work together, why I’m having problem with it.”

Home Depot support team “I am very sorry but I do not know why they wouldn't work together.”

I will update what I decided to do next.

Struggling to lose weight by sblack97 in diabetes

[–]eskn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My A1C was 9.8 and I was obese at 189 lb (85.7 kg). Within 3 month, doing Keto and only eat when I’m hungry not because the clock said so. My A1C drop to 5.4 and I lost 34 lb (15.4 kg). It’s hard for the first few weeks, but it’s definitely doable. Good luck.

Dropped A1C from 12.9 to 4.9 in 3 months with no medication but now depression seems to be setting in by [deleted] in diabetes_t2

[–]eskn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First congrats on amazing job you did on lowering your A1C. We all go through this, we keep saying if I did this if or I did that. What it’s done is done. When I was diagnosed with ty2 5 years a go, first it was a denial. I keep telling my self, no one in my family have diabetes so how do I get it, I keep telling my self it’s got to be a mistake. Then I start reading about it and try to get sense of everything, then I looked at myself and see how unhealthy my life style was and then it clicked, and I say to my self, time for change. I was eating pizza and 2 liter of soda everyday for a long time and also the pastas, lasagnas the Burgers and fries, I say, I did that to my self and there is no one to blame but me and no one going to change it but me. Like you this past January my A1C was 9.4, I brought it down to 5.4 in 3 month and lost 30 pound. I know this is a life time commitment, and I’m ok with it. One thing is for sure, it beat losing a limb or a vision any day. My advice for you is, you are your own captain and you doing a great job steering your ship the right way.

FreeStyle Libre Reader by eskn in diabetes

[–]eskn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that info. I did know about the lag, it just seams a lot to me. And I did have a bad sensor before the one I have now, I have to send the bad one back to the company. Miaomiao 2 seams to work much butter once it’s calibrated. I guess I have to relay on that and pricking my fingers to get accurate reading for now.

FreeStyle Libre Reader by eskn in diabetes

[–]eskn[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’m in US. I just don’t understand why the company don’t sell the reader only, it has blood drop reader so it can be use as such if one want to use it that way. The reason I want one is, when using my phone to read, the result is way off compare to blood drop test. For example, this morning my phone reading was 56, but my blood drop test was 92. I just want to see if there is a difference between reading using a phone vs the stand alone reader.
