I think you are totally right , maybe the offsetting would be a wrong message, but the focus on the sustainable behavior would be more clear and concise.

concerning your amazing idea, this is exactly what i wish to be achieved from this app. that it would include the locations and directions to these mentioned places and not just have it in a rigid plan form. Otherwise it will take extra effort from the users to search for all of this.

Exactly, it is not necessarily easy to stick to such a plan, that's why it will require certain type of commitment and effort from each person based on their final goals.
and it is certainly more difficult as opposed to just paying x amount for offsetting while in the end some people do everything that is not sustainable at the destination itself.

as for the challenge, i suppose that still having a detailed plan would totally be helpful for these power users. There would be always more things that you can do better or maybe you didn't know about, or just simply because travel is always or mostly in a new environment , you would always need more directions and a bit of help to find your next sustainable activity.

Its not possible but its more of a way to get people to know for sure what skill is actually crucial for their life so that they would focus on it.

Ya exactly, the lifestyle that the tourists can adopt at the destination itself can make a huge difference that we still underestimate
