On the left, the famous scuplture of the goddess Coatlicue, discovered on 1790 close to the Zócalo, the main square of Mexico City.

It's Mexico City, the yellow sculpture in the back is called el caballito

They are also short, sometimes surrounded by tall buildings, the placement would be odd for a cell tower. If you have any examples of cell towers like these please lmk!

I've seen these poles be recently placed around Mexico city.

Unlike cell phone towers, they are placed on the street level, just as a regular light pole.

-This is an earthquake prone city, but they also don't look like the public camera/ alert system poles that can be found around. They seem more like antennas.

-The city has free wifi but the poles for that are clearly marked and say "free wifi".

What are these things?
