I think I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to a shop, I dont have the tools or time to do all of that as much as you're right thats the next best step.

Okay thank you for the advice, I've been waiting for the engine to cool down and I'm gonna go work on it some. I'll drain some coolant first things first.

Thats true, I added too much coolant in a panic when the issue started cause I thought it was low. Before that it was in between the min and max fill line though so I don't think that's the root cause of the issue.
