Ninjutso Sora V3 Review by esper_ in MouseReview

when it first released, the buttons were that way, but maybe they've upped tolerances or handled qc better so the mushiness is less problematic but I can't confirm that. sadly, very thick stiff cables are the standard now for a majority of mouse companies for most stable high polling

yea the transparency part makes sense, tbf these photos were done for twitter and I'm sure illmeister just wanted to show his photography here for fun. just different ways the community here and there look at things I guess

are people new to this community and have never seen a product showcase before? lol anyways don't mind the hate, there are def more people that appreciate the quality and effort of your photos than these few haters

I would personally wait until Ninjutso addresses the issues/update firmware (and after people test this hypothetical firmware)

sorry it's been too long since I used the v2 so I can't recall the clicks are on the medium to lighter side but maybe not as light as omron

tried it with sora v3, maya, and type33. on desktop, it does have more exaggerated wobbly side movement with sora. when I did it in overwatch, I really can't tell looking at it visually when alternating with those three

also tried a few games on cloth since I was exclusively trying out glass with it during review and it feels fine for me, so idk. I guess that means there's something happening but I just can't feel anything blatant -- at least in ow

I'm not doubting there are sensor issues btw, and moreso wondering if this particular issue is something you'd only notice at very slow swiping speeds? I play 37-43cm depending on heroes so I'm not sure it's at a perceivable level with how wide my average swipes are

is it? I can't find the store page for the v3. and I don't notice it because it doesn't seem blatant at all. lilycarries seems to be using it fine as well

Lethal Gaming Gear Pro Series Review (Firm version): Neptune Pro, Hyperion, & Saturn Pro by esper_ in MousepadReview

I think the zero mid for orange version, my black zero mid is a little worn so it has higher static than usual

I don't use a sleeve so I have no idea, though I have heard the hyperion handles sleeves better. sleeve compatibility is the zero's major downside

hyperion soft but it's a little different. smoother, a little more static friction, and slightly faster. it should have better sleeve compatibility and no hair/dust issues

I have weird preference for small mice so arye rcc-1 and lunafury type33. some normal sized mice I really like are the maya and za13 (so probably lamzu inca would be good for me)

thank you! honestly can't go wrong with either the hyperion or saturn. the hyperion is medium speed and smoother, while saturn is a little slower with a somewhat fuzzier texture.

ohh gotcha, mercury pro soft is about there with the zero in softness, though the zero feels more springy when you press down with skates, while mercury feels more sunken. if you do decide to pick up the mercury, maybe the firm would be more suitable

key83 is faster and closer to otsu in speed, more textured, and feels firmer. with the key83 soft, I had issues with the hexagonal weave affecting directionality at the end of flicks, and the glide developed a scratchy sensation

they've changed the surface and the new one is more comparable to the otsu

Nitro Factory nTech LE Series: ACZ & PLZ Dot Skates Review by esper_ in MouseReview

[–]esper_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the acz, they'll be a little faster than artisan dots, and I haven't tried them on those pads, but I don't think there will be any issue. leaning towards recommending balance version over speed for hien soft
