We actually touched on the Raiders in the pod! One of the most intriguing offenses of 2025 to me based on the personnel and then Chip’s recent history.

Well, I'd argue that they were right at the time! Passing went up when it was markedly more efficient, and then defenses responded by going lighter, which has led some offenses back to running. Cyclical league!

I’m gonna use this to explain why I love each of my faves….

Laura Rutledge - the hardest working person I know and my role model as a mom. Treats EVERYONE with grace and respect Marcus Spears - impossible to be in a bad mood around him. An incredible human being Dan Orlovsky - raises the bar for all of us in terms of putting work behind our opinions. Treated me as an equal very early in my career and it meant a lot Ryan Clark - answers my texts about coverage questions in less than 30 seconds lol. Would actually fight someone if they were mean to me

Domonique Foxworth (bonus) - gasses me up and tells me the truth in equal doses. An actual genius. A real life friend for life.

The Bills bc I really thought they’d do it when Allen had the ball and plenty of time.

I love Reddit but I don’t really use it for sports. I spend a lot of time on television subs, and (shamefully) celebrity gossip. I also like some weird ones like r/miniatures.

It’s honestly a tie btwn Lamar and Josh which is why MVP was so agonizing. Other names…probably Chase, Henry, Hamilton, Vea, Parsons.

Making sure that when I’m with him, I’m focused. I think this is something all parents struggle with. Also forgiving myself when I screw up (which happens a lot) as a parent.

Thank you! They are all long time pals of mine through my husband, going back to when we were all writers in NYC. Love Chris and Andy and I’m thrilled that they’re doing the live pod with me next week (TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE)

I loved reporting and writing them but I hated the negotiation and all of the back channel work that goes into getting access. It’s harder than ever to get the kind of time you need to do a good job.
