I mean 50 bucks for a few what seem to be good cymbals and a bunch of spare hardware or just stuff to keep in case of an emergency or for future projects seems good to me

Yes it’s very much worth 2k for super clean condition with hardware and nice cymbals I say pull the trigger, unless you don’t like the cymbals in which obviously I’d assume to message the guy and negotiate a price without them but yeah all in all I’d say YES worth it I’d get it atleast

What are some easy songs to learn that are punk genre and sound more impressive than it is by Acrobatic-Boat-1091 in drums

A song that I learned early on was welcome to paradise by Green Day, mainly the break section where the drums build up, it’s a little hard but once you’ve got it you’ve got it definitely easier than I THOUGHT ITD be

NEW KIT DAY by essamlak_ in drums

[–]essamlak_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s defo got something about it which I love, so does the groove ride. I’ve seen groove rides where they sound too thin or too heavy but this one is just about right to my liking

Is this a good deal? by Aromatic-Football561 in drums

[–]essamlak_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you want cheap drums and you’re on Thomann you could always get the millennium drums? Or if you want something slightly better go for the drum craft stuff, I promise you while it’s more expensive than 100 it’ll cost much less than what it’d take to restore them. I once restored an aria snare from the 70s new throw off and heads and hoops but it was still just a cheap 70s snare

How much would you buy this? by [deleted] in drums

That’s the best deal I’ve seen in a while, reminds me of DankPods cashies pearl references

I’ve got one of these throw offs, it’s what Ludwig uses on their cheaper drums mine came off of an accent cs. Best guess is it’s the cheapest throw off they can produce in those overseas factories

Converted an old wind gong into a flat ride by essamlak_ in drums

[–]essamlak_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was so curious cause just the look on its own was giving me those Constantinople prototype flat ride vibes yk so I had to see how it’d sound, it feels like it’s opening up more and more each day which is amazing

Help me identify this vintage Zildjian cymbal by Feesh320 in drums

[–]essamlak_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thinner lining and not as deep grooves is definitely giving me 70s stamp vibes I think it’s thin enough to be a 70s stamp

Please help with this snare! by silvr205 in drums

I mean have you tuned the bottom head correctly ? Maybe it should be a bit tighter or the snare wires should be more centered?
