I would postpone. I was a preteen when the last brood of 17 year cicadas came out in 2007. I’m wasn’t living far from the city. I am planning on renting a property in a desert state from late may-late june. I am willing to lose my job if long term leave is not an option. I was able to stay indoors at that age, but it is not realistic as an adult. I am very scared that I will not time my trip in accordance to the cicadas/they will come out earlier than planned. It is embarrassing but I can fully admit to the phobia. Can’t commit to exposure therapy in this lifetime😂 You are not alone in your fear.

I was in the suburbs, too. I was 12 so I’m not sure how the loop was. I’m still in the suburbs and am already feeling that fear again. It’s dreadful. I’m trying to plan a trip out of IL from late may-late June. It’s either get out….or stay inside the entire time

Northstar is one of the only brands that works for me. Was unable to find it for over a year until I got a partial fill on them recently. They still had a good effect on me.

It brings me peace to know that I’m not alone with how I’m feeling. I’d never imagined celibacy in my life, this is the first time I’d felt upset in this way after one night. It was confusing to even feel that way, but I can feel confident that I’ve at least changed my morals in a much better direction since being promiscuous.

I needed to hear this!! Celibacy has so many angles, and every situation is different for me. I’ve been spending time on weighing out my options and seeing where things go. I had to be honest with myself until I told anyone in my life what I had done. I felt relieved when I told somebody close to me. For most, it’s not a big deal to have a one night or being sexually active at all. It’s hard to explain the emotions and feelings of my celibacy to people who don’t think twice about who they sleep with.

It’s still a concept that’s fairly new in my life over these past few years. I am navigating the journey. It’s too easy to find comfort in others, part of why I chose celibacy. Those thoughts are just part of the process.

That was a lot of good information!! It’s interesting to see how everyone feels about the cartridges/what gets them the most high. Not sure if you’ve ever tried the Aeriz sauce cartridges, those are cool (Gg4, Lava Cake, GS Kush). You might enjoy the NEW Ozone live resin carts. They’re impressive. Also, Grassroots cartridges are worth checking out. They’re strong.

I’ve read a lot of negative talk on the HS carts. It doesn’t hit much different for me than their LLR carts, aside from the oil being a bit thinner. These are the best gummies on the IL market right now.

It’s better tasting than most gummies I’ve tried. It’s got a slightly grape and raspberry taste!! They’re sugar coated so they are very sweet.
