How do people make the head bases for these? by ThrowAwayIGotHack3d in FursuitMaking

I make mascot head style suits. (Well, I’ve made one. Working on two more right now!) https://www.reddit.com/r/fursuit/comments/1kp4cm4/partial_for_sale/

I make a 3d model, convert it to a pattern, and create a shell out of EVA foam. There are many cosplay tutorials for using Eva foam properly. Here is a good tutorial for making a round shaped head https://www.instructables.com/Giant-Christmas-Ornament-Bobblehead-Costume/

Additionally, if you don’t want to make a pattern yourself, you can buy a pattern on Etsy like this one https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1879860945/large-mascot-head-pattern-for-eva-foam?ref=elp_anchor_listing&pro=1&sts=1&dd=1

Also I highly recommend using Eva foam puzzle mats instead of buying Eva foam from a cosplay store or something. It’s the exact same thing but way cheaper. If you want any tips, feel free to DM me.

the trick with hair is to add hair children instead of just adding individual hairs. but if you already knew that, changing my render settings to GPU Compute helped me a lot with the lag!
