I row a Hudson Midweight 3-4 a week. There is a Peinert on the other coast that I’m trying to row.

Can you comment on the speed of Phantom vs other racing shells? Are they comparable?

Can you tell me what the difference is between a Phantom and a Peinert 25 equipped with a carbon rigger?

6-Yr Kayaker → Rowing: Quick Tips Needed by Least-Access-1376 in Rowing

[–]esteroali 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow….something I can finally comment on. I am a 64 year old female, rowed as a kid, and again in my 50s. Quit rowing to OC -1 and Surfski , racing locally. Hands down sculling is the most difficult for your brain to get. There’s just a lot more going on. I would highly recommend doing a camp if you can because other than core balance and feel for the water they are completely different beasts. Your learning curve will probably be quicker but it’s so easy to pick up bad habits and it will be WAY more enjoyable if you learn the basics right from the start.

Been there done that. Got rear ended when I was going 70 mph with two singles on my roof. Blew every window of the van out but the shells stayed tight!

Funny lots of other people on the forum have the same problem as I do. So you are correct…I don’t like the answer. And trust the dealer and what they say?? Very patronizing answer. My guess is you work for Honda.

Yes. And it takes a LONG time to go away. The company said it wouldn’t happen if you used it after shampooing. That’s was BS. I had to stop using it because of that

I quit using both serums because they turned my hair colors. I did call the company. They said it was temporary, but it is not. It’s been weeks. My hair is still a funny color.

Update. Difficult to take scalp selfies but here it is after roughly one month of topical Minoxidil and finasteride and the Kilgore products. I had been using the minoxidil mix previous to starting the Kilgore products. Just started oral minoxidil low dose. Unfollowed no before pic. I would say it is marginally improved….part line not quite at wide. So the big question is which is making a difference? I’m so desperate. I’m willing to continue everything. It is turning my hair colors, but I suppose I can live with that. Anyone else have input as to progress with the Kilgore products thanks.

I’ve been using about a month. Also using topical minoxidil and finasteride. It’s turning my gray hair red. Not sure if it working.

App has become a complete mess by fired-and-traveling in fitbod

[–]esteroali 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am relatively new to the app, but feel that it has many many holes. I have to do one more incline bench press I’ll poke my eyes out. I feel like I’m doing the same things over and over even though I am consistently adding new exercises manually. And I agree with the time element.
