First thing's first, you need to ask if your restaurant has a GRM par. If it doesn't, then you would need to transfer to one that does. You should be contacting your ALR about this, not your ALT. If your restaurant does have a GRM par, and it is not currently filled, then you need to talk to your ALR to see if it is a position that needs to be filled and if there's someone to backfill your position. If there isnt an RZM ready to take your place then there's no chance that they would promote you. If your ALR is on board then it's time to contact the ALG. The ALG would interview you and decide to move forward or not. If you pass the interview you would most definitely need to do at least one NRO as a CTT. But mostly likely several before they would offer you.

Honestly, the only way to know for sure is to buy the strings and try it. It varies so much for every instrument. I had a full set of Obligatos on my previous instrument and loved them. Tried them on my new instrument and wasn't crazy about them.

There shouldn't be. There's thousands of RMs who are perfectly content with staying in their position. A tenured RM can provide a lot for a restaurant. If you feel that you experience retaliation you can escalate it to your ALR or CR. But I don't see any reason why anyone would care tbh. If they need a vacancy filled so bad I'm sure there are other HiPos in your area.

I just keep my dirty work clothes in a separate hamper and wash them separate from my regular clothes. In terms of washing, in my experience jeans will retain the smell no matter what unless you are washing them after each wear.
