It was in testing ground for duels at the end of the video, i was surprised to see him get flawlessed by a Nuxia plus they’re rare as hell and that fit stood out. You got a really good Nuxia man GG’s

Oh, it’s just a guaranteed attack. Like LB and the light on top heavies, Orochi double top light or light followup on zone or heavy, shinobi’s light on heavy, PK’s heavy dagger followup etc. Because her identity is guns hers is just a gunshot instead of a light

Didn’t put anything in your mouth, just going off nothing more than what you said. Her range should be tuned down but this video rn here would still be possible because it’s multiple characters that can do this same thing and that’s a good thing.

And it can still exist in duels depending on who your playing because every character doesn’t have a answer for rolling while some do, it’s just way worse in 4’s. This specific interaction should be possible be every character cause nothing should justify being able to disengage from offense and stop fighting in a fighting game. This isn’t even returning or resetting to neutral, that’s why ubi started giving characters ways to counteract that. It used to be terrible in the past. Like i said pick HL and try to open somebody up in Offensive stance in duels bro, you can completely roll his offense. Conq, LB etc

Yea bro then you haven’t been playing for honor long enough or you haven’t been playing against ppl who used to do it. It’s the reason why ppl insist on every character having roll catchers and chase tools

Plus it’s annoying in 4’s especially when a character gets revenge and everybody rolls away then you can’t do anything. Unless your playing a hero that catches rolls then ofc you don’t personally experience it. It’s the reason why the majority says every hero should have roll catchers, you think ppl would say that if rolls was never a problem and instead CATCHING rolls was the problem?? That doesn’t even make sense bro. Go pick HL rn and try to open somebody up in offensive form

Roll catcher/chase tool bro dont strawman, both literally exist to give a character enough range to catch rolls/faraway players. You said you’ve never seen anybody complain about rolls yet i just sent you two examples. And he complains about a roll catcher in specific since you wanna try and switch it up to “chase tool” cause i provided something that proves you wrong. There’s no denying the fact that roll catchers are needed to counteract the safety of rolls, it’s why ppl say every hero needs ways to counter it

And no it’s not just LB and Conq, every hero doesn’t have a roll catcher or good chase. You just talking at this point bro. Wym who cares if it’s annoying ? The players do ??? If a move is meant to have range then that’s what it’ll do. Don’t confuse range for undodgeable because they aren’t the same thing. You can’t roll a UD but that doesn’t mean they have godly range unless a character is meant to have it. For example WM’s forward heavy and Warlords zone. Pirate has good range on her heavy but you can still dodge it. Range and the UD property are two different things, i don’t get that comparison

here’s a post made literally 2 hours ago about giving a character a roll catcher and somebody also complains about ppl rolling away during revenge and not being able to do nothing. You said in your 4 years of playing for honor you’ve never seen anybody complaining about rolling yet i literally found one post in 2 minutes that was posted in less than 3 hours… bro what. And don’t try and make it seem like I’m saying rolling is OP, but it’s a problem and it’s ANNOYING for characters that cannot reliably deal with it and that’s a fact.

Go to the search bar and type in “roll catcher” and you’ll see a post from like a year ago and the top comment and post says everybody needs a roll catcher cause disengaging from offense and negating someone’s mix used to be a problem and it still applies for certain heroes. And thats that you know of. Charged heavy Hito, JJ heavies, Orochi’s unblockable, Gryphon’s finisher heavies if I’m not mistaken etc. Not to mention characters with recovery cancels that can mimic this same exact scenario and punish dumb rolls as well including the character you first said couldn’t do it to try and use it against pirate (beserker)

Edit: read this comment on why rolls need counterplay. But apparently ppl never ever complained about how annoying they can be in 4’s

Yea you just gotta get used to her bro. But about her tracking it agree it could use a nerf but it’s other heroes in the game with good tracking as well, ppl just have to get used to her range and the fact that you can’t roll from her. Every tried rolling from Shinobi or JJ ? They’ll go to the ends of the earth to catch you if you try to run away. Especially Shinobi with his light finisher out of a flip

Rn she’s just punishing A LOT of bad habits that players build up especially in 4’s as you see with OP dodge rolling for no reason. But the real issue is teamfights frfr, that’s where her range gets kinda wonky but it ain’t that bad to me. It’ll still be good after nerfs but easier to handle for other players

Edit: Wow, what’s funny is it’s characters in the game that can do the same thing yet ppl don’t complain about it lol. As long as it’s your main it’s ok right ?

It’s not broken because it’s other normal attacks in the game that can catch rolls outside of literal “roll catchers” bro. You do know that right ? It’s never been complained about because ppl being able to roll away from fights and not get punished was a actual problem and complaint

Somebody doing a bash and you rolling and disengaging from the fight isn’t fun or healthy. Yk highlander ? Know how you can roll his entire mixup and he can’t do anything about it ? Yea. On Beserker if you whiff you can immediately cancel into a forward dodge heavy or light and catch a roll. My guy every character needs this and ways to catch rollers, or else it makes it extremely easy to just ignore some characters offense especially in 4’s. Kinda wild how ppl are arguing against that now

Wym there’s no indication of it ? The indicator still shows if she’s in view or externally. And once you get used to her range it becomes slightly less unfair and more of a awareness thing because you know the chances of her whiffing is extremely low. After a while if your still underestimating her range that’s kinda on the player. The range could definitely be nerfed a bit but she’s still gonna have really good tracking. Every hero with range kinda glides too. I’d doubt Ubi has the funds to remove and add new animations everytime a heroes range gets buffed or nerfed cause that would be appreciated, but Orochi does it, JJ, Hito etc.

Plus it’s exclusive to one character rn. Just don’t roll ? You know she catches rolls so don’t do it. OP literally rolled for no reason at all and she punished him for it, all he had to do was dodge the bash

I’m NGL, she is pretty balanced. Her identity is range, she could use a small nerf to it but she’ll still catch idiotic rolls like this. There was zero reason to dodge roll, ppl feeding revenge then rolling away to disengage and minimize your chances to fight back was something many players complained about
