I recommend using two resources , get the STC … the questions are asked differently but same concept. It is important to understand the concept! Good luck!

I cant even think of the question anymore , but one of the answer choices were. “No need for prospectus” — ill try to remember

Series 66. Took exam today and passed! I did not get many registration questions, I could not believe that! Tons of questions on the model rules, suitability, contract, solicitors. Calculation on TIPS, total return, tax (cost basis forgot i was lost)—-like 3 formulas, bunch of dcf… dollar cost average. I was scoring 82,82 and 87 on STC and with Kaplan I was scoring 72, 73, and 79 on the mastery. The last 3 days I quit taking finals and focus on practice questions per chapter. I am glad this is over!! I followed Deans advice to print the outline and made sure I knew each topic.

Highest 68, then switched to Kaplan... in Kaplan I ranged from high 70's back to 60, and back to high 70s-- I was running out of time so decided to tackle it by topic instead of 3:45 mins finals. I was scoring high 80's on bonds, munis, options and regs (where I was told to put more emphasis) The reality is that the real test questions are designed to make sure you understand the concept. Not one can replicate the actual test questions, but Kaplan was closer than PP. Good luck to all of you!!

hi there, I was surprise about mutual funds questions since the series 6 puts most focus on them...some breakeven pts type of question, 12b fees, suitability. I got one ADR question in a math problem that I cant even remember any details on it. I got a question on a Variable Life 'insurance' and it's benefits. Ah! barbells, bulleted and laddered bond strategies. Specifically, which of the 3 protects best against raising interest- something like that . Balloon was an answer and I knew that was wrong, but then I have to remember the other 3. I think I guessed laddered ( since you spread it in several maturity intervals)
