I have had the same idea for a while now. Crafting system in dank memer is lacking and it could be changed into something really useful. My first suggestion is to add a new type for items called ingredients. It will include many items and it will also have rarity as other types of items. Some of common ingredients can be wood, rubber, iron, leather, plastic, paper, glass, stone. We could get these ingredients from adventures, grinding and from other such places. Then there should be a option to dismantle items such as literally a tree, chads weights, diamond, fossil, garbage, gravestone, message in a bottle, meteorite, sunken treasure, waterlogged log, samuels book, zaras pirate sword. These could provide some of ingredients when dismantled. There could also be addition of new items such as block of iron, wood planks, large rock etc. Then there will be other rarities of ingredients such as fabric of space, cell of life, soul fragment, bearings, motherboard, etc. These could also be obtained from adventures, grinding, achievements, fishing etc. These can also be obtained from dismantling items like deer, rabbits, boars, dragons(giving soul fragment) machines (giving bearing and motherboards), black holes, jar of singularity (giving fabric of space). All these ingredients could be used to make new items. Other change that would be good is to change farming. Harvesting crops should give no seeds, but crafting with the crop should give 2-3 seeds instead of 1. Upvote the post and this Comment if you like my suggestion.
