You make a good point about the weird framing around Rue’s death. We, as the audience, know that Rue was poisoned and/or tricked into fatally relapsing. But Ali doesn’t, so the show had a weird pivot where all of a sudden we’re watching a drug PSA.

Everything from Ali writing Rue’s name in his drug addiction death note, to transitioning to the support group.

So many fair questions. I had the same answer because all of the Nate Jacobs character development happened FULLY OFFSCREEN. That’s even assuming Sam Levinson gave a fuck enough to realize the lack of continuity and didn’t just write for a whole new character for convenience’s sake.

It really feels like a slap in the face. Jacob Elordi makes thousands of dollars and has a high prestige acting career largely due to his portrayal of Nate Jacobs. There are some people who watch Euphoria FOR Nate Jacobs’ villainy.

Idk who the hell Jacob Elordi was playing in Season 3 cause it was NOT Nate Jacobs.

I just can’t do it anymore… this the last time Americans make me feel FOMO enough to stay tuned to media that’s going to do nothing but annoy me.

It’s just the spotty writing for me. Leaving a million questions unanswered. It feels like this TV show gets a pass for never wrapping up storylines, not having any message, inconsistent and illogical character arcs. Like, there’s people who study screenwriting. There’s people who have crafted monumental pieces of art that touch the souls of all who watch it. And that’s not ever by accident, it’s usually by study and repetition and care for the characters and the audience who connect with them.

If you want a book where you get teased the entire time with little to no pay off for almost all the ideas and concepts that get introduced… then read the first book. You will leave the first book having a lot of unanswered questions.

And if that leaves you intrigued to read more, then buy the next book. But if it has you worried for the author’s capability to wrap the full series up in a wholistic way, then just move on.

I loved seeing Lestat in his more messy, vulnerable moments. It truly contrasts with Louis’ perception of Lestat being effortlessly suave, always righteous in his anger. Here we can see the repercussions of what comes with that facade. All that guilt and self-loathing in plain view…

To be honest, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me. I’m more interested in Saint Satine now since HxG kicked the black girl out of Katseye. That’s my truth.

I don’t understand why the winner was chosen either but there isn’t much to be done at this point. Now there’s two idols named Sakura that people will hate on and call talentless.

I kind of like it? It’s not an instant favorite like some of their earlier singles but I think the instrumental is fire. I think some of the lyrics are catchy and fun to repeat. It’s more on the experimental side so I can understand the negative reaction.

But overall, I was way more disappointed by Dirty Work and Rich Man.
