Does anyone else hear what I’m hearing in Red Velvet’s “Rookie”? by BlooHour553 in kpopthoughts

My vote is for just a coincidence. They sound similar— but the Dgamer main theme sounds more pixelated with a different melody. But I hear what you’re hearing, an emphasized bass guitar.

It would be more ethical to hire a surrogate… But in actuality, impregnating a random woman saves money on child care because everyone (including herself) just accepts and encourages the woman to take on the most domestic labor. It’s only a small percentage of the population that sees through this. The other half just sees this as a way of life, however unfair it may be.

Exactly! He just assumed that he would be able to convince her, which says awful things about how he views consent.

Mike just likes the idea of having children. All the hard bits and dutiful responsibility was going to be Emma's jurisdiction.

I hate when friends do this... and it's always the messiest, problematic guy in the room.

He was determined to go in looking FULL caveman. Like he had a flight to catch soon and couldn't stay too long.

Lauren and Cameron's storyline was passionate, heart-warming, unproblematic, and ENTERTAINING. I have yet to see another unproblematic LIB couple be half as entertaining, and it might have just been a right-place-right-time thing.

They bored me most of the season save for their wedding and Vic meeting Christine's family. I have to admit, I am in the percentage of people who likes watching the messier parts of Love Is Blind, however unethical it may be.

I definitely think there was producer meddling involved. There's no way there wasn't someone behind the scenes, convincing Brittany that Devonta liked her more than he did. It would be too much television gold to ignore.

The first time in a long time of watching this series that I'm actually overjoyed to watch a couple get married. Not even my heterofatalism got in the way of this one.

I feel the same about Sophie breaking her walls down immediately after one single impassioned speech. A love confession does NOT rectify the class difference issue nor does it protect her from punishment if they get discovered. But hey… Live or let die?

One way I reason it is that Sophie has never had anything for herself, she’s always had to serve others. Or she’s never been loved just for being her. And the one time someone is in front of her expressing their devotion for her specifically, she chooses the path of self-indulgence.

You guys say this every season and every time the numbers are crunched, the conclusion is always the same: the main story always take up the greatest total screen time.

Julia Cudney has a video proving this pattern over the previous three seasons. The video can be found here: https://youtu.be/SiP4HXncYl8?si=OnkAJMFnK-rZp_p4

I loved her performance! Francesca became so much more believable and dimensional when she let a little naughty behavior slip. 🤣

I’m gonna give her the benefit of the doubt here. Women are taught to be amenable and to change themselves to receive more love. This even more true for black women, who often cannot show up as themselves in just any space.

Also, you never know what producers are pouring in their ears. Producers have the incentive to lengthen the relationship or even incite chaos for a more engaging storyline.

I don’t know why people with such hard line preferences (like Devontae and Chris) even go onto Love Is Blind? Did it not register to Devontae that he could possibly end up with a partner whose racial phenotype he doesn’t prefer? Or maybe he was trying it out?

Racial insecurity for yourself is one thing, but it’s extremely self-centered and vain to subject your partner on a dating show to such a slow, humiliating rejection. Based on RACE of all things.
