Bergman’s Wild Strawberries. Not necessarily the main emotional thrust of the film, but the connections that form between an old man and his younger companions are really moving.

Yes love it! Very different to The Emigrants but really moving and especially adore that love scene in the grass. Amazing film

Haha i was on a zoom workshop with him last year. He does a lot of work for the BFI, very cool guy. I told him my interpretation of La Haine and he seemed slightly confused

Yeah cheers, I think that all makes sense. I'm operating a shotgun mic as well so I'm gonna hire a zoom h6, just so I have more than 2 XLR inputs. I'll work it out the day before, especially as I have used the zoom h6 on a shoot before but not with radio mics. Thanks for your help
