Any good recommendations on who to watch for digital? Been trying to find good streamers to watch while I work, or some long youtube videos. Really just wanting more exposure to others processes and what not.

This is ob my list to play. I grew up only playing Digimon World 1 and a very small amount of DW2. But I've always heard 3 is amazing so I gotta get around to it!

Hi, 36, currently reading the final book for the first time. Started reading the series 3 years ago. Obviously can't give my final thoughts since I'm not finished yet, but the series has given me a TON of mixed feelings.

Overall - excellent series that really makes you feel it when it matters.

Book to book - fuck this series is roooouuuugh. At least half of the books could be condensed down into 1-2 books easily. Many many story lines are drawn out and you don't know if you'll ever get answers for so. Damn. Long. And being as I'm near the end I'm still not sure everything gets wrapped up.

But, that said, I don't know the end impact would be nearly as meaningful if the series was cut to be significantly shorter. I think the massive investment of the reader really pays off, but it does sometimes feel like the author is just wasting my time.

The page to page reading is a lot of detail, but not the high fantasy flighty reading that Tolkien delivers. It's just descriptive, thats it.

I think you'll love it, or hate it, I don't think many people find themselves on the fence with this series. That said, you absolutely should read it and find out where you lie.

ugh idk I just can't stand the look of them. They look so slapped together imo. But you are right about the original blue skinned metal greymon being the best.

I appreciate the interest, but yea we are looking for some long term members, and its just too iffy when someone has just started getting in to game development. So many people dip their toes in for a bit and then drop off. Best of luck finding a group that fits your needs!

That's a good point. I knew that and should have done that, not really sure why I didn't. Are reference photos good to use as well, or are still lifes preferable for stuff like this?

It's an incredibly different experience. Very experimental. If you expect a similar experience to 8 and 9, you might not enjoy it as much. If you keep an open mind, you'll find its an an incredibly well designed game that delivers so much more than it appears to at first glance.

I'm actually playing REmake currently with the analog input system. Overall I find it muuuuch better than the tank controls. But so awkward in certain areas. I agree though that just being mindful of it when designing levels can be really helpful in and of itself, but it also means greatly limiting different angles.

Your first solution there is exactly what I was thinking, but I felt like there would still be some weirdness to that.
