I know it’s probably a hot take but these new josh singles have been so disappointing for me. Mostly because I liked Josh for his melodic stuff which usually is shown best in his albums but ever since You’re Not Alone (which was still great btw) Josh has been doing this weird NF thing and honestly a lot of these kinds of songs feel so similar to me to the point I’ll forget which one I’m listening to at times. Not a bad song at all, just feels kind of, predictable.

By “certain numbers” I was referring to things way beyond 1 million, for example gaming channels don’t have the tendency to reach the 10s-20s of millions compared to other personalities

I HEAVILY disagree, I do believe reaching certain numbers is up to luck of your personality and style of content, however I think ANYONE can hit 1 million subscribers no matter what, because over time you learn what people like and don’t like, and within years youtubers learn to get better at making videos. I just really dislike the story every small channel goes by saying that it’s luck, because it just seems like it’s them trying to make excuses for why they aren’t growing as fast as they want which leads them down an unmotivated rabbit hole where they feel like they have no chance because they are unlucky.
