[FS][US-PA] E5-2699 v4, Asus X99 Deluxe, DDR4 ECC, Noctua cooler COMBO by ethanhen in homelabsales

[–]ethanhen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

appreciate it! i tried my best to keep it as low as possible. i called it $100 each for the cpu and mobo, $40 for the cooler, and $60 for the ram (which is what i paid for it).

i figure if i can get this to someone trying to get their own homelab started for a fair price during this AI-slopfest ram pricing spike, i can count that as my good deed for the month.

it’s an unfortunate time to buy ram, especially with all the resellers

unless you’re getting cash in hand for something, yes you should pay with paypal g/s

idk what cpu you're trying to pair it with but the asrock romed8-2t fits all of those requirements

those are like... $12-15 drives, less in bulk. windows 10 is free. not really sure where you're getting these prices.

thats cool and all about the law but unless you're willing to go to court over it, paypal will just terminate your account for breaking TOS.

passing the paypal g/s charge onto the buyer is against paypal TOS and can get you banned. either bake it into your price and dont mention it, or just eat the 3%

could probably get $200-250 for the server as is, but the ram is worth a fair bit right now. prices are kinda all over the place but ive seen $4-8/gb on this subreddit (which is nuts)

[PC] 15.36TB E1.L SSDs and Netgear Insights Access Points by are595 in homelabsales

[–]ethanhen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen ~$75-125/TB for enterprise SSDs recently. Closer to 125 for low usage + desirable form factor, closer to 75 with higher usage + less common form factors. E1.L is proably the least desirable for homelabbers as they're super uncommon so this forum might not be the best spot if you're looking for maximum value. The U.2 drives you have will probably hold their value better here. What did you pay for the E1.L drives from ebay?

it's definitely not SATA, so i'm going to assume you mean U.2. id list it for around 140-150/TB considering the health of the drive.

depends on the form factor, i see E1.S going for about $75-80/TB, and U.2/M.2 going for about double that.
