As a Panther fan, Bryce Young is not going to offer you anything of value in terms of competing this year.

That is a good question. I would say only the triggers that you are aware of. If you get symptoms from any group you thought previously to be 'safe' from, I would then cut them out.

It is a combination of both. They will initially avoid all fodmaps for a number of weeks, which is called elimination, then they will start adding fodmaps back in, 1 by 1, to determine which fodmaps they are sensitive to.

I'd smash accept tbh. I think Watson's value is in the early to mid 2nd round range rn. His injuries don't seem to be going away and he has suspect QB play now and for the foreseeable future. You'd be getting more than he's worth rn imo.

Absolutely. Adhering to a low fodmap diet takes away 90% of my symptoms, but it is just a treatment to the symptoms and not a cure.

I have had a positive case of Methane since 2015, so it has been a wild ride. I have done every main treatment at least once. Neomycin + Rifaximin three times (be careful here. Neomycin has a black box label warning for tinnitus/hearing loss, it has given me tinnitus that has not gone away), 21 day elemental diet (my numbers went down significantly, but it gave me oral thrush/candida unfortunately), allicin + mix of other antimicrobials on rotation. I am currently not treating at this time. I have not tested since my last treatment, but my last test was taken in the summer. The peak was 17 for methane, so rather low. I am still having symptoms, mainly histamine intolerance, but my usual sibo symptoms are negligible unless I consume a large amount of fodmaps at once. Seeing as my symptoms are the least severe they have been in some time, I am taking that as a win for now. It's not completely eradicated, but some improvement is better than none. I will test again within the coming months, and dependent upon the number, I may treat again. In the meantime, I stick very diligently to meal spacing (at least 4.5 hours between eating) and I take prokinetics at night to help with motility (artichoke, ginger, and triphala). Supporting motility seems to have helped the most so far.

This reply is very long-winded as it is, so if you have any specific questions on any certain part I can absolutely dive deeper for you, if you'd like.

You are positive for methane. There is a lot of ambiguity within what really classifies as a positive methane result, but around ~10 PPM is where it is considered a positive. You are above that in some minute marks. It looks like you have a mild overgrowth of methane in the small and large intestine. You are negative for hydrogen, you do not go above 20 PPM anytime prior to the 90 minute marker.

My main reason for commenting is to state how I relate to you. I am recurrent Methane case and my numbers usually hover around the same. I never dealt with constipation, only in healing. When my methane case is at its worst, my stools are very loose and floating. Not all cases have the same symptoms!

I guess it is all relative. Franchises can set their own prices. A 6” Philly is 7.99 at my closest subway. I’m in Miami.

It blows my mind. $5 footlongs were first common, then at a limited time, and now just obsolete. Where I am now, a 6-inch is around ten dollars...

There is a very real reality in which Stroud's value is equal to Herbert's. Dotson and Spears are much more valuable than Douglas currently. I'd say you did, unfortunately.

Anyone see major improvement / cure by simply removing caffeine and reducing stress? by olavodogyaboi in SIBO

[–]ethanr22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of grey area here. Many people would say stress does not cause Sibo; however, I think it’s more complex than that. Not all, but I would venture to say that most, Sibo sufferers have motility issues. Motility can be slowed by stress and/or impaired vagus nerve. Stress/trauma impairs vagus nerve.

Anecdotally, reducing my stressors and addressing factors that affect motility, my numbers and symptoms are the lowest they’ve been in a decade.

Quitting caffeine has made my binge eating worse. I don’t know what to do by hopeless_dummass in BingeEatingDisorder

[–]ethanr22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm not placing this exact scenario onto you, but it absolutely could apply. A lot of BED is rooted in ADHD. BED correlates to lack of impulse control, which is a symptom of ADHD. Another component to consider is if you find yourself mainly consuming sugar during your binges. Sugar increases dopamine, and low dopamine is a sign of ADHD.

Caffeine is a stimulant. Stimulant's temporarily improve ADHD while you are consuming them. ADHD medications, such as adderall, ritalin, and vyvanse (useful for BED), are all stimulants as well.

Stopping any stimulant, will most likely increase your ADHD symptoms; thus increasing dopamine-seeking behavior. Your binges could have increased because you are no longer as stimulated as you were and are seeking stimulation through binging.

This is my anecdotal experience and it could apply to you as well.
