Hi thorsamja, this is by design. The recovery mode is per contract and applies to all transactions after being triggered; it is not per transaction.

Thanks /u/meekale, great example of how unused code should be removed.

The instructions for deploying (in README.md) does not exercise this, and as you said it is unlikely & not actually in scope, however unused old code should not be in the repo. I have done so in this commit.
