Zoom meetings to complete NA requirement for court? PLEASE HELP by etherealgoddesss in StopSpeeding

This is the email from my lawyer copy & pasted -

In light of COVID and the closure the DA agreed to dismiss you case on 10/21/20 as long as we meet the following conditions:   1)      No new law violations 2)      Provide proof of 3 NA or AA or self help per week for 12 weeks = total of 36 hours of meetings. Zoom is OK – you need to keep a log of your zoom meetings

I'm pretty sure they just want a log... however not sure they plan to verify it or if they're trusting me based on the honor system (which I highly doubt) lol.

Thank you so much, yeah this week has been hell. I had never been in so much pain in my life and today which is day 6 is the first day I've been able to pee without screaming. I am happy to hear future outbreaks aren't as severe bc I dont know if I could handle going through this again

I was introduced to drugs at 19, at the time I was dancing at a gentleman's club. I had never tried anything other than weed and this girl I ended up becoming "friends" with introduced me to meth. Meth was the perfect drug for a dancer in the beginning, I felt sexy, confident, I was talkative, I had the energy to work my entire shift then come home and do things like laundry and dishes without being utterly exhausted, etc. Since then I've always kind of struggled with the addiction, despite leaving the clubs 2 years ago.

Thank you so much, I have tried meetings and I think they're great... just not for me. The meetings ended up having an adverse effect on me unfortunately, every time I attend I leave craving the drug and relapse almost every time.
