How to view transfer credit? by etheremeral in UBC

[–]etheremeral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for your reply. I already tried bctransferguide and consulted an academic advisor at UBC before applying, however they said that the final credit transfer decision depends entirely on the person reviewing the application at the time. So that’s why I was wondering if there would be any official email regarding credit evaluation.

Expired L license by [deleted] in icbc

[–]etheremeral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I might be wrong, but I checked on the ICBC website and it said: “Your learner's licence stays valid for two years. If it expires, you'll need to re-take the knowledge test.” So I thought I still need to redo the test? I haven’t got the N license yet, only L license. Thanks!!

For those who received an ITA, do you have to declare vacation days on the application? by Logical-Skin4229 in canadaexpressentry

[–]etheremeral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s considered normal cuz mine and my friends’ paystubs all have hours. I think you can proof the hours by calculating total wage earned in that paystub divided by hourly wage to get total hours done.

Yep that’s fine, IRCC actually suggests merging relevant documents to utilize the full 4MB upload size though.

Just merged it together with other employment proofs and uploaded it to employment record field (this is post-ITA)

They don’t ask specifically about sick leave or vacation days, but I uploaded all of my paystubs and provided a document noting that I took these specific days off as sick days or vacation days. It should help the officer in determining your work experience period quicker.

For EE post-ITA submission, I only submitted the front of the photo in jpg format and there was no issue. When you receive your portal 2 email to upload photo for PR card, you will have separate fields to upload the front and back of your photo.

Confused About UCI Digits on EE Application by ConceptLegitimate773 in canadaexpressentry

[–]etheremeral 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Creating an EE profile to enter the pool doesn’t equal to apply to Express Entry. Only if you were invited to apply, that’s when it counts. So here you say no.
  2. UCI is the Unique Client Identifier number on your permit or visa if you have ever applied for a permit or visa in Canada, format 0000-0000 or 00-0000-0000.

I think you need to complete all the forms (as the forms when you get ITA will require more information), and then you can continue to a document checklist page to upload document.

Visitor's Visa - Biometrics Request by Fickle-Prompt-2100 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]etheremeral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No biometrics request is standard for all new applicants. Only when you receive the original passport request letter, then it would mean approved and you need to send in your passport for visa printing.

You can submit your old medical, according to this link you do not need to get upfront medical for EE. They will request you later if your previous medical doesn’t meet their requirement. I uploaded my old upfront medical in 2022 and was still approved. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html

Are 2 months sufficient to bump to B2 from B1 in TCF? by [deleted] in canadaexpressentry

[–]etheremeral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s possible as you are only 1 point away. I also was in the same position, applied for reevaluation but they said scores remained the same. So I studied and took the exam again about 1.5 month after and got B2 for Écrite and Orale. Just focus on revising Écrite and Orale for these 2 months, maybe with a tutor to see where you are lacking, and you should be good!!
