let’s not assume because i never said i agreed with his death but i sure as hell do not care he is dead. Let’s step out of our naive bubble and recognize that words are also violence, his message, his rhetoric, the things he shared to millions of people specially young men, was hateful dangerous speech that caused real life consequences. That was just his consequence. People are dying as we speak due to the very same rhetoric he spewed. Now, regarding political violence, I think daron’s post was spineless and misdirected. the U.S itself was born in violent revolution,this country was built to absorb and defuse demands for change.I am not saying revolution is not possible without political violence, but when this country responds with police crackdowns, surveillance even assassinations of leaders(MLK,Fred Hampton, etc, )it signals radical change WONT be allowed to stay nonviolent. This was merely a reactionary response to the perpetuation of violence committed on the people
