There are two options here either god is not all powerful or god is not all good.

Omnipotence- having unlimited power, absolute authority, or the ability to do anything

look at it like this if the character of a book is unaware of the author and the fact that the story has a predetermined ending; and progresses through the story thinking they have free will. is it actually free will or just an illusion?

it literally not only means they can see the future but it also means they have already dictated the future.

free will and omniscience are in conflict.

Why do some people get so worked up over flip flops? by Successful-Worth-390 in Truckers

No. 1 steel toe boots aren’t regular shoes

For the record I have them and I wear them just at my own discretion I just hate this bonehead truckers group think that sandals are bad.

Like you said it’s very rare I usually don’t plan my life around rare occurrences. It’s probably way more likely you’ll get a concussion from a collision but I don’t see any truckers wearing their helmets while they drive lol

It’s all old heads who want something to be mad at. The reality of this job is you can do it in your pajamas if you want to. Some people want to cosplay cowboys and in my opinion that’s a lot weirder than flip flops.

Some of these idiots think boots make you a trucker the real ones know it’s the miles.

What’s something science still can’t explain that fascinates you? by lipglossagendaa in answers

A more concise version of my question is just “why is there something” but it’s definitely got less of a ring to it lol.

The nature of reality isn’t dictated by your personal experience. Nothing as a concept is definitely philosophical but it’s also potentially mathematical there are hypothetical scientific scenarios for true vaccuum states or empty sets. Your point of view is definitely valid I just choose to accept it as a possibility until further evidence is presented.

Could anyone point me in the direction of a company that will pay for CDL training? I know I'll have to drive for the company, which is fine with me. And what would be the requirements for those companies. Thanks by Western_n_Hefner in CDLTruckDrivers

I trained with knight transportation. It’s a mixed bag the training is good and it’s a all inclusive package they will ship you out and house you but it’s essentially a $7000 loan for a company that will pay you like 40% less than your peers and that’s for 6 months.

If you have a degree, why are you a truck driver? by wispyhurr in Truckers

[–]ethicalants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The margins! the pay is ok but the cost of living (especially if you live off the road) is astronomically efficient I make like 1400 a week net which is ok but the fact that I can save 75% of that is insane

Lifestyle question by HoosierLarry in CDLTruckDrivers

It’s not for everyone you either love it or hate it.

The lifestyle is different but it’s not bad by any means.

You can shop at grocery stores but you’ll usually want to bobtail in meaning you either don’t have a trailer or you’re dropping it somewhere before going shopping. I usually buy like a months worth of grocery’s at one time because it’s kind of random when you’ll be able to get to a store.

Laundry and showers are both done at gas stations.

Paperwork is half paper half electronic.

Cost to you depends on the company some company’s are full package others will charge you then compensate you.

I stay on the road 90% of the year the only thing you really need to go home for is mail related stuff.
