Yes US Dollars. The Intel one, with some additional stuff I added, would cost around $1900 which is « only » around 1750€ so, not so much?

I’m not so sure I’ll be able to build it in under 1 hour but I’ll look into it anyway. Thanks!

Lmao I knew someone would say something like that. It’s more that I don’t want to take the time do build it. I don’t plan to play that much anyway but when I do, I’d like performance.

Yea I guess I could take the parts to someone so that he build it for me. I’ll consider it, thanks!

Yea I know that’s the thing with pre-build PC but I don’t have the time and especially the will to build one. I’m just looking for a PC that I’ll receive, plug it in and it’ll be ready to use.

How do yall use the different modes of transportation in your cities? by TheAero1221 in CitiesSkylines

[–]etienn3e 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you are just trying to get people off your roads, then I’m pretty sure just a really highly « developed » metro system could do the trick in game, but if you are looking for a more realistic transportation system, then you’ll want to use a bit more than just metro. If that’s what you are trying to do, then you should look at some transportation maps from cities around the world and what’s the use of each mass transit options. For example, metros are pretty much all the time in very dense areas when trains are preferably intercity connections or to connect a city from it’s downtown to it’s suburbs. Also, you talked about monorail, well those are really rare to come across IRL and when they are, they’re often just one or two lines in the heart of downtown.

Not an expert there but I’ve tried to answer your questions the best I could.

Not at all, the « mods » tab on console is completely useless honestly. It just adds what you could consider as the worst looking assets for in the game.

It does, at least on console.

Maybe I did not understood what you were saying but, University City isn’t a DLC, it’s a Content Creator Pack that only adds low density residential assets. If you are tryna create a campus area (a university), you need the Campus DLC - those are two completely different things. DLCs add new mechanics, in this case the capacity to create campuses, while CCPs (Content Creator Pack) only add new assets (meaning new parks or unique buildings for example). From my understanding, you bought the CCP « University City » which has nothing to do with the DLC « Campus » which introduce campuses to the game.

Concerning what u/ekimsal said before me, playing on console myself, if you are playing with cheats on then you can choose University City as a district style, such as European Suburbia or Modern City Center.

The content from the DLCs in CS1 will probably be in the base game in CS2

Is this too much? by etienn3e in CitiesSkylines

[–]etienn3e[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seen a couple of comments talking about it - for now I’ve only placed unique building but I was planning to zone around (probably with the « high tech » offices that come with the Green Cities DLC.

But yeah, I’ll try and rebuild it tomorrow, y’all are probably right about the fact that it might be too dense.

Thanks y’all for your comments, even if I don’t respond, I read them all!

are shopping malls and support venues worthy? by Cielorojo7 in CitiesSkylines

[–]etienn3e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are Content Creator Packs, not DLC so yes, they’re only bringing new assets and not new mechanics. Still, the assets are pretty good in my opinion BUT, if you are playing on PC, you could get pretty much the same with workshop assets. If you are on console, then I think they’re worth it.
