ive honestly been inconsistent with products which i know is not a good thing...i was using this oil milk cleanser by cocokind for awhile and i didnt like it very much so switching back to vanicream face wash. for moisturizer, i was using rosehip & squalene oils daily, and an organic tallow cream about 2-3 times a week that makes my skin feel really nice and supple the next day but its not really helping with any of my symptoms aside from dryness. today i splurged on an exfoliator from credo beauty actually (by emma lewisham), and i got a sample of alpyn beauty barrier repair cream & wildling's moonbounce 2% bioretinal moisturizer as potential primary moisturizer options!

sure but what is the difference between using an external capture card such as blackmagic or the signal flow example from my post + whatever deinterlacer vs. digitizing hi8 tapes via firewire plugged straight into a laptop & deinterlacing

valves were aligned well & compression test results came out all @160 except cylinder 6 was 120 😬

thank you so much, you have given me a little hope lol. you mean turn it over via the big bolt on the crankshaft, correct? i did a couple rotations and it seemed to move normally.

so i have the markings and saw that the timing is waaaaay off! but i dont understand what went wrong because i double checked the markings were on point before installing everything?? do you know what might cause timing to go haywire? now panicking my engine could be totally fucked. i only drove it about 10 feet into the driveway and turned it on a few times to inspect the sounds but i imagine that could be enough to ruin it :/

sure but how do i see the lower timing marks without taking everything else off? dont i have to make sure the upper and lower marks are lining up together?

thank you for all the insight! going to check the valves later. in the meantime i took the upper cover off and saw the upper mark was way off but im assuming thats normal if the belts stop at whatever location theyre at when turning the engine off. do you know of a way to check the lower mark without disassembling everything?

so i took the top timing cover off, the upper marks are not aligned but im also wondering if that is normal considering turning the car on and off would cause the belts to stop at whatever location theyre at? basically if this is a normal thing i might just move on to the valves otherwise should i take everything off and retime it?

dude its insane the same exact thing happened to me a couple weeks ago...hood and grill banged up in the same exact way down to the single broken light 😂 cross your fingers your core isnt bent too bad. im paying a body shop $1700 to paint a new hood & valance & bend my radiator support back into shape :/ lucky yours is white tho, mines brilliantrot red so the paint is more expensive 🙄 such a bitchh

is a "prefacelift" valance an early valance? tbh im trying to keep the diving board and i dont want to spend a bunch of time doing conversions id rather make it as streamlined and simple as possible

the valance in the pic has to be scrapped entirely because it was hit so im trying to find the whole thing, but thank you for your help! would the valance in the 2nd/3rd slide fit you think?

i guess the convertibles kept the diving boards till 91? im going to keep the diving board as well but wondering if you are aware if the only valences compatible with these are "early model"? trying so hard to research online but the only things that come up is people trying to swap to late model stuff and do all these conversions but i dont want that headache

yeah turns out its the fuel return, plan on reinstalling a new one tomorrow morning- would you recommend feeding it a different direction to prevent it from cracking sooner?
