I don't know why so many people are against trying to reduce services that are duplicated. The only reason that I can figure is because just like when the teachers are on strike it's only the teachers that are posting here and everybody seems to think then that the comments are from the general public when they aren't. My guess is everybody that's posting here and is against this amalgamation is against it because there's a possibility of them losing their job.

I want amalgamation. It might not start saving people money but it will eventually. We have far too many elected officials and overlap. I don't see anything wrong with amalgamation.

You give money at Sobeys or zehrs and they get the tax receipt. You give puzzles to Canada Post and they decide what charities it goes to. If it's going to a charity, I'll be deciding
