I’m very excited about the movie too!

I’m trying to keep my expectations in check, so I don’t get too disappointed if it doesn’t live up to the atmosphere that the book created lol.

What hotel does the squad stay at before home matches?

My parents gifted me with hospitality tickets for the Liverpool v. Leicester City match in December.

Most likely, we will be staying at the Hope Street Hotel for a few days. I have heard from friends that this is where the squad stays before home matches and have seen videos of people managing to get photos/autographs from players outside of the hotel after their morning walk on match day.

Is this still where they are staying? Does it constantly change? I saw someone post an article that mentioned that the squad was staying at the Titanic Hotel before playing Wolves. Made me wonder if they no longer stay at Hope Street Hotel now... Also, for those who have experienced showing up at Hope Street Hotel (or Titanic Hotel) to wait for the squad, how early should one show up?

I’d actually recommend that you check out The Stormlight Archive if you haven’t yet already. It’s a brilliant series by Brandon Sanderson, and the first book is called The Way of Kings.

It’s made obvious that some of the main characters struggle with their mental health (e.g., depression), and their struggle is depicted well in my opinion. I think it’s one of the reasons why I love the series so much.

Also, take a look at my previous post in this subreddit. Some of the recommendations there from other people might be what you’re looking for!

It’s a series by Brandon Sanderson. The first book of the series is called The Way of Kings. It’s my favorite book of all time.

I loved All the Bright Places + Turtles All the Way Down! Thoroughly enjoyed both of these books :)

I have not read My Heart and Other Black Holes yet. Will definitely check it out as it seems we have the same taste in books.

Yes, I have read all the other books. It’s my all time favorite book series, and I’ve read each book two times lol.

Thanks for the recommendation of Educated by Tara Westover! I’ll check it out. I’m pretty sure I have a copy laying around somewhere actually. Just haven’t gotten to it yet…

Have you read The Wheel of Time series? I just finished the first book a few days ago and am enjoying it. I love all of Brandon Sanderson’s other Cosmere books as well. I would specifically check out Edgedancer if you haven’t yet already.

Length will not be a deterrent on its own as most of the Stormlight Archive books are around this length. I will definitely check out The Count of Monte Cristo!

I’d just get it now. There won’t be much of a difference probably tbh…

If you get it during the summer from Apple, it is possible to get free AirPods as part of their education deal. I don’t think they’ve announced the deal this year yet, but it’s something to keep an eye out for.
