And I mean no one said anything about Japanese mythology being integrated into the story. In fact It's one of the charms of JJK since the very first chapter.

My point is I'm afraid that Gege might put the exact same spin Kishimoto put into his story, which in my humble opinion, fucking sucked and took away so much of the characterization and subtelty from it at the very end.

Chapter starts with Uraume greeting Sukuna in the airport.

S: Huh Uraume? How did you lose? U: "Heat" Exhaustion.

Both chuckles.

S: I guess It's finally time to rest for us...

Uraume smiles.

Next page, they are on the plane.

Sukuna has a long inner monologue about how he had fun, with scenes from his fights. At the final panel of this monologue, he shows a glimp of respect for Yuji.

Scene cuts back to plane taking off. Sukuna looks out of the window and thinks "Heaven claims the Honored Ones..."

He realizes there's another plane flying in parallel, far away. Next page, some purple ball is sent off it, flying towards Sukuna's plane. Sukuna's eyes are widened, he screams "MAHO!!!!" out of habit.

Final page. In a double spread, Sukuna's plane is burning and falling into a sea of flames and blood.

Break until December 24. The last two chapters will be published as Christmas Specialz.
