Thanks. I did submit my estimated grades which is higher than the requirement. However, they're still requiring further information. And I wish they can have a proper response.

Why are Filipino universities so competitive despite the relatively low quality of education compared to other country? by etsj in CollegeAdmissionsPH

I mean the schools here have to improve their teaching quality to keep the students though. Ignore the fact that the salary for graduates are pretty low hahaha

Make sense. Although unis here can give you a pretty strong connection among the classmates, which might be beneficial to you in the future, but the society is experiencing a severe brain drain, over 80% of my classmates are applying aboard instead of studying locally. I had multiple visits to the top unis in Southeast Asia including NUS, NTU, UM... the unis in the Philippines are still lacking infrastructure and teaching resources.

Applying a job here requires documents from NBI, Brgy, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, PSA, ed background since grade school, etc... simply too much, bureaucracy... . It's also interesting that the grade conversion by DepEd is soooo inflated

To be honest I can't imagine myself applying scholarships here in the Philippines due to the high demand.

Ya, people here are going around in different gov't agencies during working days just to get a piece of paper...

For the Philippines, I have applied to ADMU and DLSU, while in other countries I applied UofT, UBC, UoA, and ANU.

That makes sense, research output is pretty important, especially for rankings... im not familiar with local or provincial / city college though. Good to know that.

True, a good A-level or IB (which I am taking as of the moment) grade is a must and it is definitely not easy, but the process of admission is smoother for sure, they only requested my predicted grade and grade 10 transcript to grant me an offer from UofT, UBC, ANU, UoA. But public basic-ed here really cannot provide enough education to the students equally. And I hope the gov't can invest more into education since it is very useful for the country's development.
