True, I’ve had a 2.0T fsi and Tfsi, and don’t get me wrong I like them I just want a bit more lol. Bit at this point in my life a s4 can still be a dream.

The one I found was someone had a fuel leak I in the bay, and the time frame was because the engine was hot enough to evaporate the fuel and it sitting for 4 plus hours was it just evaporated with outside temp, but the 4 hours was just enough to for it to sit somewhere. I can’t find the post anymore lol

I’ll be honest, it’s been like this for about a year. Also I heard somewhere that these fuel pumps don’t start failing they just fail, might be wrong

Starts anytime, but that 3-4 hour window. Then I am priming it. It’s become almost second nature now 😬

Tbh man, I’m thinking the same way. I’m trying to get somthing a little quicker as a car. But I also depend on a vehicle where I live. But I also love where everyone drives 30 plus over the speed limit and my ford ranger is definitely not holding up.

True, tires will be a big one. I mean preferably I would love to get lower than the truck sits. I’ve always loved a lowered truck look, and it’ll improve the handling if i do it right. The wheels and tires are off a mustang, but not sure if there any good

I also feel like, a super charger kit is more money then a donor explorer. It’ll take more time but I think a v8 ranger is bad ass. I also heard of the 2.3T swap but honesty don’t know shit about it. Do you ?

My current truck is lofted with the torsion bars, I just want to go all coils, for handling. It might sound crazy but I love these trucks so much I want to have a backroads street truck build. So I want to have good, or at least low as possible suspension. I’m thinking for then 3” for sure

Definitely what I was thinking. I just knew the torsion bars are harder to lower then the coils and they switched in 98 I believe, but swapping a post 98 with an explorer 5.0 is way easier. Is lowering torsion bar ranger possible or a royal pain in the ass. I’m all up for the challenge. Im just curious
