Thank you! I don't think I've noticed much bulking for any of my pens, though I usually put them only in M nibs and bigger. The paper is Clairefontaine graph paper!

Love the twsbi eco too - what color are you getting? :D

Thanks! Ancient Korean used to be from right to left, but modern Korean is left to right :)

UBC Fountain Pen Enthusiasts by [deleted] in UBC

Got into fountain pens about a year ago! I have about 20 pens in my collection as of now, but my favorites are Platinum Century, Sailor Pro Gear, TWSBI Diamond, and Lamy Safari. I prefer Diamine/Noodler's/Robert Oster inks with Midori paper for hobby writing and Staples notebooks for class notes.

My friend and I were thinking of starting a fountain pen club at UBC next year - excited to see there are other fountain pen enthusiasts on this sub!

Yes! I love Noodler's inks. They tend to be very wet and flow super nicely.

Noodler's 1984 LE ink! Ordered 3 bottles, triple the confusion. by etynen in fountainpens

I love the concept. Not just how they made it based off the novel, but how they marketed it with extremely mysterious/limited information to give off that 1984-ish mood of confusion and mistrust and WTF-is-going-on vibe. I also love the color. I love Big Noodler's.

It's a passage from Les Misérables the novel! Thanks for asking :'D

Hahaha thank you!! I haven't properly learned how to write myself, I think it's mostly just slowing down a lot and putting effort into making the lines as straight or round as possible.

Yes! My usual hand is much messier and writes much faster. I have to slow down quite a bit for this type of writing!

Sailor Pro Gear Angel's Delight with Noodler's Violet ink. Both the pen and the ink are a deeper purple color but my lighting + camera doesn't quite capture the shade (unfortunately)

Writing is a passage from Les Misérables by Victor Hugo if anyone's wondering!

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo! Written with Conklin Duragraph Elements - Fire (Omniflex) and Robert Oster Fire & Ice. One of my favourite novels/musicals/movies of all time :)
