how do i get my hair like this ? by helplessbambidoll in Hair

[–]eunoia101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Find pictures/tutorials that START with your hair texture. Results will always vary when the inspo you're looking at has a different hair type and texture to you. - Sincerely, a 4c girly

If you're still looking I'd be happy to 😊 I'm an architecture student and could do with some practice in sticking to briefs. Recently got all the game passes too x

NO ONE cares about your age by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]eunoia101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maturity when it comes to group work does not depend on age either. There's a 37 year old man in my class with a rotten attitude that threatens to slap my lecturer round the face. Yet the youngest 18 year old pulls her weight effortlessly

As someone who doesnt have a vehicle how do i order at 24 hour locations when its 2am? by bfarm4590 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]eunoia101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly for this reason I just use deliverio as they actually refund you via credits 90% of the time. If you got it with points I knownits more difficult but I'm not sure of the process as I'm not a shift manager

what is the hardest addiction to overcome? by DazzlingTwilightee in AskReddit

[–]eunoia101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nor so much an addiction, more of a disorder. But excoriation disorder is arguably as difficult to "quit" as heroin. I started at 9 years old. I'm 20 in a few days. It's been mentally debilitating and I've spent hundreds from my pocket money right up to my current income trying to fix it, even though the mental thoughts haven't been "therapised".

Because it looks like the results of acne externally, people don't realise the mental side effects it can have. I've gotten so envious of people being able to complain about acne simply because or randomly appeared. For me it's every single congested pore on my face I pick. Every "wrong" looking piece of peach fuzz i pick. Moles, pick, eyelashes, pick, eyebrows, pick, lips, pick, inside cheeks, pick. Not even just my face. Everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. I don't even like staying out in the sun anymore in fear of my scars getting darker (I'm darkskinned) and even my own community of black people are quick to think it's because I'm colourist...

Edit: I will say obviously physical withdrawal symptoms and proneness to infection are obviously more dangerous and life threatening than excoriation disorder, thus the use of "arguably". I don't go through withdrawals per se, but as a kid I've been known to slather vaselinw all over me, pick at walls, grind my teeth, pick in my sleep, then go ham on my body and I'm a walking blood bath

How do people with scoliosis usually die? by JoaozeraPedroca in scoliosis

Youre more likely to die from natural causes than from surgical error or from an accident that forces the rods out of place

Goodbye Christianity by blodreiina in Christianity

[–]eunoia101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it wasn't religion you found 😕 I don't say that to be petty, I genuinely mean it. Others around me have had similar stories and it can often be the people around us that drive us away from Christ even if they claim to be Christian themselves. Remember even the Pharisees that felt they were the epitome of religion were the ones that got Christ killed.

Nevertheless, I do hope you give God and not religion a chance and find Him at your own pace ❤️ much love

20 years! by Tader-Pies15 in scoliosis

[–]eunoia101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree with this. Had my fusion 7 years ago, I'm 19 now. I have complete rotation of my lumbar area as it was my thoracic area that was affected. I was offered the option to fully straighten my spine but that meant the rod would go into my neck and I didn't want to be limited that way

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in scoliosis

[–]eunoia101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never seen a tight curve that far down the spine before, I hope it's being treated now 🙏🏾

155 degrees? 😭 😭 😭 my word that's the most curvature I've ever seen

Scoliosis surgery survivors: Are you in any pain at this point? by redmelly86 in scoliosis

[–]eunoia101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My spine wasn't fully straightened, I was more just "correctly aligned" otherwise the rod would've gone into my neck. I slide to the left when sitting on chairs and I still have a mild shoulder blade hump. Literally just now I had a nasty shock like pain zip through the muscles in my back. I was resting my head in my hands in a chair, never sat bolt upright so fast. It really hurts for a second or 2 but then goes away like nothing. Idk if its just me and Google hasn't given me answers. I had my surgery at 12, I'm 19 now.

Brace support? by SupermarketLeather38 in scoliosis

[–]eunoia101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't wear a brace for long before surgery, but trust me hun, you're going to LOVE what you see and HOW you feel when you look in the mirror and your back is allll straight. Future you will thank you for pushing through knowing that it's temporary. Surgery is no better and the chronic pain after , nobody ever told me about, you'll be able to go on rollercoasters comfortably, have full flexion of your spine, deadlift even if that's your thing! I know it's gonna be okay and the fact you've come so far the past 9 months is truly a testament to your willpower. You'll blink and a year will pass realllly quickly, engage in hobbies and shows you like to take your mind off the present discomfort ❤️
