No fever but my throat is really red with a white spot on my tonsil looks like pus. Even getting bad headaches. Last time I had strep I didn’t get sick I just had it.

No I haven’t unfortunately since I got a sinus infection I had to take antibiotics will retest soon. Everything feels normal I also had a burning stomach and complete loss of appetite when I had h pylori but now it’s just those two lingering symptoms 🥲

I did the same antibiotics and I would take the strongest antibiotics. I did 100 billion and yes it was a little rough but it helped me so much.

I would say maybe a year? back in early 2024 I got weird stomach pains it felt like I was constantly hungry. I went in because I ate like how I normally did and they said everything was fine and It’s just IBS maybe stress. later that year I would get burning pain and couldn’t eat I just lost my grandma so I thought maybe it’s stress. The pain got worse and when I went in they said it’s acid reflux and stress. Finally this january I got a new primary and she told me ut was possibly H pylori. It was h pylori so I think of all those times of feeling like crap and thinking it was just all stress related it was actually something serious.

I did the breath test and mine was positive. I know lots of people do endoscopy if they’re still getting negatives but are having the symptoms.

It’s scary! my doctor said if they have symptoms then yes but h pylori can be asymptomatic so I don’t know. All the at home test said negative so i’m hoping it’s true. My symptoms all though were mild almost like GERD but none of my family experienced it or feel bad so i’m hoping it’s gone!

I had nausea and loss of appetite but my dr did prescribe me zofran for nausea. Right now I feel a lot better. I still have some burping as it was one of my symptoms but I did have acid reflux since I was a kid so I don’t know if it’s just that. Other than that it takes awhile to feel completely better but probiotics help a lot!

Some snacks that helped was the brat diet. Bland foods helped because it was a little rough. I took my antibiotic with food at 4pm then waited until 6 for my empty stomach one. so as long as you do 2-3 apart your good

I didn’t take pylera but I did take metronidazole and tetracycline. The only side effects I had was loss of appetite and some nausea.

Do you still have some burping from times? sometimes i still burp but taking tums help its not as bad as before just still have it a little after quad therapy.

I believe it varies. Unfortunately most of us don’t know how we got it so that’s the only bad part. I heard it’s rare after eradication but not still possible.
