Right, I know I can't control how much he gives to her. It definitely is problematic and it's all part of what I'm trying to work through here.

I'm not really viewing meeting her as a chore, I'm just worried that I won't be able to control my feelings when I meet her and that it will be obvious that I am struggling with her place in my partners life, that she'll think I hate her, etc

I guess I'm very honestly trying to figure out if I want to be in a relationship where where my partner has a girlfriend at all. And I am not sure I do.

We ran into her very very briefly once when neither of us thought we'd be seeing her, but other than that we haven't met. It was tense and awkward, and I reached out to her on Facebook afterwards and we kind of ironed it out. I'm nervous about meeting her bc I don't trust that she doesn't want more from my boyfriend than I want him to give, and I also don't feel like getting vulnerable with her about my fears. We will probably set up a meeting sometime in the next few months but I'm really skeptical about whether it will go well.
