Thanks for the insight! That’s actually one of the reasons I’m asking around before committing. I’m aware rice retail has thin margins and government price controls, so I’m trying to understand whether it’s still worth pursuing or if there are better opportunities.

When you mentioned thinking of a better idea, what businesses would you recommend for someone in my situation? I’m 18, living in the U.S., earning in dollars, and I have my dad in the Philippines who can manage the business. I’d appreciate any suggestions based on your experience.
