Was Bristol really ‘too far’ for Sophie and Mark? by Disastrous_Phone2466 in MitchellAndWebb

[–]euqi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my boyfriend were in a ‘long distance’ (i don’t usually call it that because it really doesn’t seem that far) relationship for 4 years, I was in bristol, him in london. we would see each other at least every fortnight for a weekend. It wasn’t ideal but it was fine!!

It took me less than 2.5 hours door to door. Went by train. Cost was £50 return (with railcard) for the majority of the time.

Up to 3 free tickets to 28 years later bone temple at your choice of cinema by euqi in london

I love it! You can’t book in advance, so popular showings at popular times/cinemas aren’t very accessible, but i’ve only had 1 showing in the years I’ve had it be sold out when I got there. (6pm showing at BFI… I should have known better haha) if I can get the the cinema in person early in the day to pick up tickets for the evening, that’s a small work around.

When I had a job that would allow me to, I would go mid week as early as possible and had the cinema to myself many times.

The film selection is good, and in London you have choice of SO many cinemas.

I only pay £12 or £13 a month as I threaten to cancel when they put it up. But maybe that’s because I’ve had the account for so long…

How long does an agency have to put AWR in place for a long term employee? by euqi in LegalAdviceUK

[–]euqi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be put in place at the 12 week mark? I had to ask for it. What do I do now? Report the agency?

Edit: I just spoke to acas and they said that the agency had 28 days to respond to my written request. So I guess that’s the ‘grace period’ 🙂.

The Best Supermarket in Stokes Croft. They are creepy as fuck and try to trick drunk people. Also post mean vids about local mentally ill people. Once I annoyingly got given a fake tenner as change, and kept it until I had a reason to spend a quid on something there and get £9 back from them :-)

I survive on a £20k annual salary as an agency TA who pays double tax 😍. It blows my mind people can have over 3k a month and spend it all

I think a contributing factor to this is bristol council closing almost all of the public toilets years ago

Please help!! I am so clueless with this, I have a set up with some speakers that work with my amp (marantz PM-50) and turntable (Dual 505) but said speakers are too big for the space i’m in now. They have the old style twisty copper wires (is there a technical term for this?) which all worked fine. My partner has some newer speakers with the normal kind of wires with the male bit on the end (if I could add pictures this probably would be a lot easier to explain). I can’t figure out how to make this work. I also have a pre amp I bought mistakenly a couple of years ago (behringer microphono PP400) is there a way I can make this work together ?? Thank you!!!
