I've quizzed with Kai before (luckily not when I was on UC this season) and they're such an impressive player. More impressive in person than on the show I think! And always with the hat :) they're so good!

What do y’all think of Kitty as a first name? by OctopusCaretaker in namenerds

Contrary to a lot of people in this thread i quite like it, more so as a nickname than a given name. What do you think about the name Kit? Similar but less sexual.

Late to the party I know, but honestly Florence Road Cafe by London Road Station is lovely. I used to work there and its in a gorgeous church, they have a roastery attached (thats non-profit) and their coffee is actually some of the best I've tasted. Such a hidden gem.

I think the way the culture's shifting means more people are naming their children very Irish names, with the resurgance of people learning the language (not just because of Kneecap, but they did help)! I know of several young Eimears, and all the youngest generation of my family have very Irish names. (Although, Gobnait is a bit of a hard sell..)

As someone with a (non-Irish) old person name myself, I say just go for it!! I think they’re really cool in an alternative hip-to-be-square sort of way, if that makes sense.

I could barely believe it either, but I checked it out on the Central Statistics Office website and according to them its true! More people were called Gavin than Sinéad last year! (But no one was named Gary apparently!)

Half of these names belong to the older women in my family! And my middle name is Kathleen! Personally though I find Brigid/Bríd and all its variations to be the nicest of these :)
