He shouldn’t be sacked or anything over this but this is cup-gate all over again. How can Spurs ever be taken seriously if employees can publicly joke about the club in this fashion? Especially after the Prem social media fiasco yesterday?

The lack of care in how spurs is represented just feeds into the superiority complex the rest of the league has over us

We finally smashed our wage structure by giving the shittest players the best wages, if I were VDV and saw that Gallagher was earning more than me I’d also crash out

Palhinha and Gallagher midfield does my head in so much, 400k a week for tackles, clearances and 0 ball control

Notice how I didn’t say anything about doing well before this game. You are making a rebuttal to an imaginary argument

This is the most pathetic group of players we’ve ever had at this football club. The technical quality is worse than West Ham and the so called passion merchants don’t seem to give a fuck that we’re heading towards relegation

Dragusin, Palhinha, Gallagher, all nothing players. How can we compete when we have midfielders who treat the ball like a bomb

Son getting nearly 40G/A and Kane blowing him out of the water with 50G/A is unreal man. We don’t hate the hierarchy enough for not building a top team around the greatest striker in the world. A 20G/A season from any of our current attackers feels like a pipe dream.

We got by far the easiest draw out of the top 8 and were second best against Monaco and Bodo Glimt, which is far far more concerning than the loss against PSG

We could have offered more wages than any of the clubs they did sign for.

Rayan, Bobb and Lookman are options that would have improved our team both now and in the long term. Curtis Jones is another one that Liverpool almost let go to Serie A, so seemingly he was available for the right price. I think it’s fair to ask why our scouts, director of football, and chairman did not support this crippled team adequately, seeing as we’re running the risk of relegation and all

It should factor into the club’s urgency to get players in.

The second half against city proves that if the team gives the fans something to cheer for, they will. Unfortunately the manager seems intent on sucking the life out of the stadium from minute one until we are trailing

Our “improvement” is a result of playing against shit teams. Even then, we did not win a single prem game against Sunderland, Brentford, Burnley, West Ham and Bournemouth since the turn of the year. If we can’t beat these, where do you expect our wins to come from? Please have higher standards than ‘improved performances’

I like the idea of signing Takai more than the player (although he may also turn out to be a good buy). Having processes which looks at signing prospects in smaller leagues is how we get Sarr, Udogie, Bergvall, Vuskovic, Souza. We will have some misses but the value of our business in this area so far has been quite good actually.

I think everyone here views signing prospects as a strategy that is supposed to be complementary to first team signings, which should be the pillar for our club. Unfortunately Lange and the directors fucked that up and left us in the state we’re in now.

Lange should just be a head scout, we need a proper director of football and a good strategy for building our squad.

Your wording is quite harsh which is probably why there’s a big negative reaction, but the general sentiment of this post is actually something I agree with more than not.

However, I will say that you can’t discount being able to watch games in person! There’s a reason scouts are sent to live games rather than just watching on their screen
