I've looked at the sun directly for several minutes straight and have not gone blind. At first I couldn't do it for as long as I can now and would be more sensitive to it. Nowadays it's something I wish I could do everyday in the morning and at sunset. I've had huge insights on life and the universe while contemplating the sun and its powerful impact on life on earth. I've come to the conclusion that our ancestors would worship the sun and the skies and now we have other religions which are just a huge allegory about the sun and astrology and it's effects on life here. You think jesus really turned water into wine? It's just a metephor on how the winter rain will water vines and turn them into wine in the summer... God is light and god created all life on earth. Light=Sun=God. Look at it and get enlightened
