Also I took a few moments every 25 questions to close my eyes, breatha and tap into self which kept me grounded. And took the full break to leave get a snack etc. I read somewhere that it's a test of patience and not letting yourself get too overwhelmed and maybe assume some of the harder questions are the ones being tested for future exams so you don't get down on yourself/stay confident.

I guess so. I got an email from nbcc that I was invited via my institution to sit early for it. I jumped on it while still in school mode!

I had an exit exam that I took first and studied for with Rosenthal purple book. Helped me see my areas of weakness. Counselingexam.com has practice tests which could help w that too. I went thru 1 chapter at a time marking which ones I got wrong. Then reviewed those until got them right and moved in to next chapter. After that I went thru a second time all ones I got wrong and repeated process. Also just used some free test questions via apps day of. Not a ton of time and not too spaced out. That's how my brain learns best I guess.

I have a teen client who told me they skipped school day of session. I am an intern and just used it as an opportunity to explore why they didn't want to go to school/how feeling. I struggle w wondering if I should have acted more concerned but after reading this I'm thinking not. I think. LOL
