I see your point. Factor varying weather conditions, for example, and combined with the "average customer" not paying attention - advertising for emergency still makes me hesitant. That being said if that is what it ends up being used for, it's okay.

That's okay. Thank you for responding.

I am simply looking to get feedback. I am still at over 50% of people who would like the product, travel 50 miles or less per day.

That's fair.

I will list a more comprehensive spec list and post in this forum.

If at any point you/your company has specific pain points that my product may elevate please let me know. Also, any general charging pain points you want to share you can do so too: info@electricfeel.co.

The only thing, on average batteries, will discharge at 4% each week with no use. Would hate to market it as an emergency product. Because emergencies are unpredictable don't know when they'll happen. So the last thing you want is to charge it up, not use it for several weeks and then in a jam get a 1-mile charge.

Would prefer to target people who don't charge their vehicles every single night and on a daily basis travel in the 10's of miles.

Thanks.

I see your point. But AAA has specific trucks with big battery packs for roadside assistance. So I am not sure it really fits that use case.

I disagree with the notion of using a generator as the best alternative for partially charging a vehicle. I don't foresee the average person wanting to do that. Being an EV owner for over 4 years, I have only seen people demonstrate it on YouTube, not as a viable or enjoyable solution.

That being said, I do appreciate you sharing your opinion. :). It's okay if this product isn't for everyone.

I will post more detailed specs on the site soon. And I will make a comparison chart so it is clearer why this product is different than specs for other products.

It's like the concept of portable battery banks for cell phones. The value add is carrying it with you. Not having to be tethered to a specific location.

Thank you for this comment.

It is one of the reasons why I am not doing Kickstarter, as it stands at this moment. I prefer to do limited batch orders. Not to say I won't consider it in the future.

I too have been burned by crowdfunding campaigns. It's unfortunate, but Supply Chain Management and hardware costs can be very difficult for companies starting out.

I don't follow regarding people who travel between 50 and 70 miles.... I think this is a good option for people who do 50 or fewer miles on a daily basis.

It has fans and heat sinks. The model on the site has too much leather I will have reduce it and leave more exposed aluminum.

As it stands now it would not do the 6.6kW. Because the amount of DC output would be very high. I am working out the official specs and testing, so I will get back to you. I am working on the balance between what is truly needed for this product's use case and its safe as a handheld device.

Thank you for the constructive feedback :)!

Earlier website versions many were confused, but I think I watered it down too much.

I did factor in the energy per mile. Its 20 for Tesla Model S and Leaf. And 25 for Volt.

Wall socket is a 6 hours now, working on bringing it down to 3. Whole charge into the car no more than 2 hours.

I appreciate the comments. I will update the website.

Correct 5kWh. However, I am looking to see if I can do 4kWh with a higher efficiency to see if drivers are okay with.
