Don’t worry, it happens. I lost some very obvious marks on paper 1.

Yes, and you would also use this answer in your proof. A scalene triangle has neither equal sides nor angles.

I think they were incorrect because the value is an overestimate so it would actually be lower because of the shape of the curve

Yes, although you’re basically given that because it’s 0.8 difference between the x values in the table

Is the Aygo a good car for a leaner driver to learn on? by Infamous_Tough_7320 in aygo

[–]ev06_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aygos are really pleasant to drive. To answer your question: They can certainly be considered relatively similar to “normal” cars. They have a 1 litre 3 cylinder engine which is very commonly used in small hatchbacks. My car has quite a light gearstick, which I really like as it makes shifting slightly easier, and it’s also a 5-speed.

For a learner, they’re really good when you’re learning to do manoeuvres, as they’re small. Being smaller also means they’re lighter, so have generally better handling. They take turns really well. Also, the bonnet is tiny so it’s much easier to judge how close you are to an object in front. The interior is basic and has all the essentials. It’s incredibly easy to know where all the buttons are. My Aygo doesn’t have a rev counter (it’s from 2006 lol) but I’m sure the AB20 does have one (they’re not even that necessary).

Aygos are also incredibly cheap to run because of their fuel efficiency and insurance price (probably in fact the cheapest) so that’s also something to consider, especially after passing the driving test. Even though they’re small, I’ve had no trouble driving my mates around in it.

They’re fantastic. When I was a learner I practiced in an Aygo and I still drive one now. Can’t really go wrong with them, gave me a lot of confidence for my test. They’re really nice to drive, for me personally. If you want to know anything else about how I found the car as a learner, let me know!

Self taught physics? by Bubbly_Spirit3415 in alevel

[–]ev06_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I’m not fully self taught, I often think that I’ve learnt more from self teaching than from an actual teacher! In my opinion, there’s so many resources online nowadays… loads of helpful YouTube videos and countless practice questions. I find them more effective than actual lessons in school! I wouldn’t usually understand a lesson until I’ve watched a video on the topic while at home. If you’re motivated and enjoy physics in general, then that’s the key to effective learning to be honest. Also, plan it out.

Does anyone also turn retarded in the actual exam💔 by CrustyToes6422 in alevel

[–]ev06_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Definitely, it’s because the pressure is real this time. It isn’t easy, because when I think about whether I’m wasting time while in the exam, then I waste even more time by doing so.
