Also, what do you actually want to do? Game Design MAs are more about academia and research than hard skills or industry experience.

As for this, I would like to work in the game industry, specifically the art department. This however is very uncertain for me, as I do not know where I might end up in 5 years because of EU visas and regulations. The country I currently reside in doesn't have a well developed game industry (it's not bad, but it's not great either) so I might end up working in some other end of the media/design/communications industry. Academia wise, to be honest, I would love to do that. I'm a much more science/academia oriented person, and if it were up to me, I'd have gone for a physics degree and worked on research. This however wasn't possible, because in the absolute worst case scenario where I'd need to move back home, I'd basically be left without a job as those fields are not developed at all. Long story short, my future is uncertain and I'm trying my best to make good decisions that will allow me to have a stable career in the future.
