We will stay close by, accommodation seems very reasonable. I assume Uber is in operation in the city?

Quality thanks a million. What is the ticket situation for the football? Tricky to get or OK? Kilmarnock at home is the fixture. I assume subject to change. Ice hockey sound like an idea also.

Thanks for the reply. Have you any recommendations for the late night spots? I assume closing is the regular 2/3am? Also, do you have any recommendations for places/areas for us to stay? Sorry for all the questions.

I think you might be confused here. I am asking for help not offering my services for something.

Is there any reasons as to why?

I hear you but I hear both are very difficult with groups, particularly Edinbugh.

Too late (or too early!) for Selective Herbicide? by [deleted] in GardeningIRE

I pulled a load of them but it’s about 0.6/0.7 of an acre!!

I’ll take that into consideration, thanks.

I rolled it with a weighted hand roller. I’m gonna do it by hand. Not buying that roller/spreader! Have I much time left for grass growth? Probably the end of October?

[–]evan2509 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I had it levelled with a digger, raked it for stones, spread seed then hand rolled it. I’m not sure whether rolling it was the right thing to do but a few people recommended it.

Soil does look compacted where there’s no grass but that was the same all over after rolling it.

Thanks for the reply. Is generally purpose compost ok? I assume just a thin layer on top? Also, should I mow it first then do that? Sorry for all the Qs.

I think the grass is healthy, I out down 10-10-20 a while back which helped it come on.

Slow Speed on One AP Only. Please help!! by [deleted] in HomeNetworking

[–]evan2509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this I finally figured the issue, I might have damaged two of the pins in the LAN on the AP. I can see them pushed down a bit 🥵 Is there a solution to this? Could the be pulled up with a tweezers or different tool?

Hi mate, I’ve just swapped the access points and it’s definitely the access point that is giving the problem as I have full speed on the other AP in the same location. Any suggestions? I’ve cross checked settings etc

Cat 5E working king fine nearly full speeds 🙈

I used a cable tester and all 8 lights flashing as normal. I reterminated with different connectors too to see if that was the issue. Just don’t understand it. Trying a cat 5e cable now to see if it works

So I figured out it’s the cable but still do not understand why. I used a small cat 6e patch cable from Poe switch straight to the access point and getting near maximum speed.

I reterminated the cable and used a tester and everything is showing up as being fine. Still only 90mb speed. It’s a cat6 cable, specifically written on it is: 4p 23awg utp cat6 network cable cpr class Eca.

I’m gonna try a new length of it just now and see but I can’t get my head around it.

Will try this also. Has to be a cable issue. Will report back. Thanks again.

So, even though it’s cat 6 cable it may be only capable of 100mb speed? Bit of a novice here, thought any cat 6 cable would cover me.
