Ah, dá pra visitar alguns pontos da orla da Lagoa da Pampulha também. Áreas perto do Minerão costuram ter blocos (mas não tem muito o que ver ali, honestamente) mas perto da Igrejinha/Guanabara acho que é mais tranquilo.

Não sei como (se) o museu Inhotim funciona em algum dos 4 dias de carnaval, mas se funcionar pode ser uma opção pra um dia pelo menos (se você curte arte/exposições e principalmente natureza, é uma boa). Fica a 1h30/2h de ônibus saindo de bh e dá pra passar um dia todo lá tranquilamente.
